UBX has basically been 'in production' since early 2001. And the first few episodes of the saga weren't even released publically... so I go with the 'DNF' thingio
UT99 native coding is fraking awesome! I can do whatever I want (well, almost...). At least I'll have some entertainment while I wait for the SDK. :P
In other news, here's a small piece of information regarding Hollow 1: It's a YN fangame. Nothing more to be said.
Oh, and I've recently managed to get 64-bit Crysucks to run (Along with other 64-bit programs. Seems I had the directx extension libraries incorrectly installed). At 1280x1024 with 2xAA on high settings and using Nature Mod my average FPS vary from 15 to 25 depending on the area... until everything slows down to a crawl due to the GPU overheating and I have to save, quit, and wait for it to cool down.
Sometimes I can finish stuff by myself. But in the case I start to lose motivation, positive feedback helps a lot.
Don't expect it to come out the exact day it is predicted to. The actual release date can differ from the planned one.
In my case, it depends on the game. I usually play in fullscreen at my max resolution of 1280x1024.
I'm seriously jealous! Waiting for completion. ^_^

Yep. Even after dying thrice:
-First, while converting from V1 to V2. The files got corrupted and I had to start from scratch.
-Second, after one of my 'usual' outrages. I deleted almost all the contents of my HD, including UBX 3 V2, which at that time was a huge 170MB package full of weapons, items, monsters, and other cool stuff.
-And lastly, when I decided to make UBX 3 V3 for real, but first release a tech demo. I didn't even start making the demo at all!
I just can't give up. I hope this time I really get to work. I am so lazy sometimes... -_-'
PS: It's a pity I didn't have a connection when I made UBX 0, 1 and 2. They could have been released, they were cool. Specially UBX 0 and 1, with the 160 maps I made for them (and they were pretty decent).
Well, it's a pity I don't plan on expanding it anymore. Now I'm mainly focusing on SWWM Platinum EP3 and UBX 3 V3. But well, you have finish the SDK first. ;)
