Positives:

- Very good level design to be your first story
- Quite creepy
- Creativity

Negatives:

- Weak plot that doesn't make much sense
- A few flaws

What to improve:

I think the storyline could be much better. It's cliche and a lot of it makes no sense.

"One day you heard about this castle that has never been speaken of or never heard of. Not even its name"

How can you hear of a castle that has never been spoken of? Why do you hide a key and then tell other people that passes by where it is in a note like the one in the cellar? What are the monsters doing there and why did they turn into monsters to begin with?

Flaw:

It's hard to pick up the jar after getting the oil. You must pick it up at the perfect angle.

One of the maps tends to crash every now and then. That is hopefully fixed by now though.

Conclusion:

It's a CS filled with beutiful, creative maps and a weak, cliche plot. That's pretty much all there is to say about it.

I was thinking of giving it a 8/10 at first, but I remember playing the demo and found more flaws, but you fixed most of them and it seems like you are trying hard to fix other errors people report to you, so I do believe you deserve a bit higher than that.

Amnesia: A Coward's Debt

Positives:

- Scary
- Great level design
- Good scripting
- Intresting story

Negatives:

- I was expecting more "regular" monster encounters
- Annoying bug (read conclusion)
- Framedrop at the elevator
- Very short when you know what to do

Conclusion:

You wanted it to be very scary and you suceeded. I was expecting more regular monster encounters though. The only few times the monster spawned, all he did was pretty much just walking by or killed me instantly.

I managed to glitch through the map by jumping on a table with a lot of bottles on it near a bar. When I died, I respawned under the map and kept dying. I had to start all over again.

When I went into the elevator for the first time, something nearby broke for what ever reason and it was laggy as hell for around 10 seconds.

Positives:

- Very good level design
- Intresting story
- Good scripting
- Scary
- Custom music

Negatives:

- A few glitches
- Voice acting was good, but he didn't sound very emotional
- Some puzzles were confusing/hard

What to fix:

There are a few glitches here and there, like a big texture glitch while using the elevator.

When I was in the sewer, it took me a very long time untill I found the hammer (which in my opinion was placed very randomly). I tried to use a brick on the padlock first with sucess. The padlock broke, but the gate was still locked and stayed that way untill I re-played the map and used the hammer on the padlock instead.

The voice acting is great BUT there is little to no emotion in the protagonist voice. It was like: Oh no.. my brother died... oh well.

Conclusion:

I rated the first part 9/10. To be honest, the first part is better in some ways, but you improved the design and this part felt longer and a bit more complex.

I think Boss-DOS has some good points in his review, but this was definitely enjoyable for me.

This story is absoutely amazing! It really looks like you spent a lot of time on it.
Level design is stunning and the story is intresting. Not the scariest story I've played, but thanks to the well made atmopshere, it was pretty tense anyway.

The only "bad" things I can say about it is:

The quests were relativly easy. Some of them required some logic thinking, but still not very advanced and not hard to solve.

You don't use any supplies at all (tinderboxes, oil, sanity potions etc). They were not really necessary untill the "boss" battle (which were a challange), but they do give players a reason to explore more than required. As it is now, all I have to do is get what I need and move on. I don't need to search that extra room or check behind the pile of crates because it's nothing there anyway.

The final score is 9 because of the huge creativity and really intresting story line. And because I couldn't find any serious glitches and gamebreaking bugs.

Amnesia - The Fugitive - Episode Two

Positives:

- Story line is a bit cliche, but still intresting and well made
- Very long story
- Hard and mostly intresting puzzles
- Different kind of enemies
- Music and custom materials

Negatives:

- A lot of areas including a whole map is copied from Justine (minus score on your creativity)

- The version I played have a lot of obvious mistakes in the english file, although that seems to be fixed in the new patch

- A lot of glitches, like if you touch trees you can fall through the map or if you throw items away and can't reach them, you have to restart. And if you don't have many saved games, that can be a huge pain in the ***

- The dogs/wolfs are so incredibly dumb it's ridiclous (A dog first saw me when I was less than 3 meters away from him, and even then he was dumb and ran around a barrel like a ******* before he began to chase me)

Neutral: (does not affect the score)

- I liked the mine, although it feels wierd that everything is Amnesia style and suddenly it's modern style
- Machine quests almost felt overused
- Seems like the conversion doesn't work for people with steam. It might just be my computer so I'm not giving you a lower score because of it though

Conclusion:

I am very, very surprised. I voted the first part 4/10 due to the really low creativity level (you copied a lot of levels and quests) and when I play this part it's awesome, creative, and in overall really well made.

I don't know if you learned a lot while making part two or if you simply worked longer on this part, but what ever you guys did, continue that way and the final part will also be awesome for sure!

A Slave's Masquerade

Positives:

- Amazing level design
- A story can't be more complex than this
- Pretty scary

Negatives:

- What did I need the hammer/chipper for? I didn't use it once
- The non stopping monster music in some of the maps is really annoying and repetitive
- Huge lack of challange
- Half of the story doesn't require any exploration whatsoever
- Brute, before entering the storage, turned back and chased me down for no reason at all
- Waterlurker (the not hallucination one) was stuck and "died" because he couln't catch me while hiding between the wineshelfs

Neutral: (own opinions, does not affect the score)

- Too many notes! I loved the story, but after reading notes after notes after notes, I eventually lost my intrest to keep reading. I think I found over 25 notes and at least 20 of them with 2-3 pages full of text. The story is good, as I said, but I spent more time reading than actually playing the story

Conclusion:

A great story! Although it's too much story. Seriously dude, you can write a whole book with all the notes I found! I hope you create a better balance between story line, gameplay and challange next time.

For the wonderful design, lenght and great story, I'm still giving this a 9/10

I'm going to rate this 9/10 for the two main reasons that this story does include several nice aspects and scared the living **** out of me.

The story just felt like a cliche "you don't know where you are and must get out" and it pretty much is and for some reason, the "villian", who ever it were, left me several notes to begin with but suddenly just stopped and didn't give a **** about me apparently. So the story is not only short, but it feels like it's lacking so much potential.

The gameplay on the other hand is probably the best I've seen for quite some time actually. You didn't overuse monsters and no cheap flying nkaed guys were added wich really made this story, at least the prison section, the scariest story I've played for a pretty long time.

Positives:

- Scary as hell
- Intresting level design
- The story was better than expected even though it's not that special
- Nice ideas (like the water idea and the string idea, holy **** you are like the first one to use it!)

Negatives:

- Short
- It lacks story
- The water (in the first map) is under the pipe

A highly recommended story to everyone looking for a horrifying story!

Positives:

- Level design is wonderful and could not be done much better
- Variation of quests and some of them new
- Some good scares
- Great athmopshere
- Several monster encounters were well made
- Flashbacks
- Custom music
- Good amount of supplies

Negatives:

- A note was blank
- Lacks story. I'm still not sure why we broke into the castle in the first place
- A bit too generous with the supplies at the end
- The ending was not very satisfying and could have been better made
- Some monster encounters were pretty easy. The grunt at the end of the prison spawned when I was 10% up the ladder already

Conclusion:

This story is close to perfection! It's hard to make both the story and level design perfect. Most people either work alot on the story and less on the design or vice versa. You have a wonderful level design that actually amazed me, but the story has a few "holes" in it and the ending was not very satisfying to me.

An incredible good story with unique scares, unique events and really nice level design!

Positives:

- Really good level design
- Multiple paths (not extremly linear)
- You can leave the mansion and end the story when ever you want to
- The "blue portal" is incredible well made, unique and awesome
- Decent story
- Awesome scares! (You made an elite Amnesia player scared as hell, great job!)

Negatives:

- A little lack of story
- Pretty few monster encounters and half of them hallucinations
- A few, few texture glitches (staircase carpet and the first portal event)
- Some parts require some skills while some parts were extremly simple, like the machine room
- Very easy to escape the mansion. I never even made it into the laboratory because I escaped with the elevator

Conclusion:

I have played over 60 mods and this story scares the **** out of me! Unique scares, really well made levels and a decent story is making this mod into one of the most intresting one I've played for awhile. Almost perfect, but I do expect a bit more to rate it max. But it's close to a 10. Great job! :)

Dark Reality: Twisted Nightmares (RECONSTRUCTED)

Finally something refreshing from the cliche stories out there "you are trapped you must get out...". It's obvious that you spent alot of time on the story line and it really shows off, although it lack details and have a few flaws.

Positives:

- Very intresting story
- Voice acting (and pretty well made as well)
- A few custom models
- A "friend"
- Technically good

Negatives:

- The keycard made no sense to me at all, not when the rest is 100% "Amnesia" style
- The "friend" just disapeared after destroying the door. He should have walked away at least
- Lack details
- Not much of a challange with the puzzles nor monster encounters. They were all really easy
- You can "unlock" the prison doors before entering the tunnel as many times as you like, even though it's already unlocked and open

Conclusion:

Some of the cons are my own opinions and will there for not remove any points. I think it's a 9 of 10 actually. No, the level design is not professional, but at least it's working good with no serious bugs, and I'm not surprised a few flaws excist when you moddified the gameplay with a new keysystem.

I'm looking forward for part 2! The ending really got my attention and I really want to know what will happen next :)
