- Some creativity
- Level design is decent


- Extremly short
- Due to it's extrem shortness, there isn't much scripting, mapping or gameplay
- Not much challange
- Not very scary
- The lever makes the screen shake so much so I was litteraly outside the map for a couple of seconds


The biggest issue is the fact that it's way too short. The story isn't that bad, but because it's only 5-10 minutes long, it isn't much to see. You have potential though and can surely make something good if you spend more time on it.

I would perhaps have given you at least 2/10, but you're not even trying. How do I know you're not trying? Because you made two stories half a year ago, and you made absoutely no improvements in this one. You don't even know the basics, like correctly connecting walls with each other. Not even the dam basics and you think it's good enough to be uploaded?

If you are going to make a new story, learn how to actually make maps and scripts first. Watch tutorials or what ever, just don't upload maps you didn't spend more than a few minutes on.

And for the third time, TAKE screenshots WHILE IN GAME! NOT the level editor.

- Intresting story

This is exactly what we need, people which put alot of effort to the story. The music wasn't very great and the even when I had to throw up a ladder and place it above me so I can get across the hole, jesus christ, not only did it get stuck/fell down five times, I also had to rotate it in a perfect angle to get passed the invisible block boxes that were blocking more than it had to.

The Chemical Factory

- Not a regular "you wake up in an unkown castle" story
- No lame jumpscares

- 95% key quests
- Plain, no details, boring and repeditive gameplay
- Short story and very smal maps
- Missing ceiling in the flooded map and the water texture made no sense
- Notes made no sense
- Lame and rushed ending

What to improve:


While the levels are relativly free from texture glitches, the maps in this story are very empty and have no details at all. It seems like you were lazy and placed a couple of barrels somewhere and then just copied them because they are all placed and rotated the same way everywhere.

The flooded map. First of all, it was extremly obvious that a water monster was coming, but what really got my attention where your texture selection and missing ceiling. Why does it look like it's a river? It's inside a house...

Both the archive and "chemical lab" were so extremly rushed and lame. The archive - wow, two bookshelfs and the same book copied like 7 times, magically floating on the water surface.

"Chemical lab" - no chemicals what so ever and the monsters left a button which could destroy the whole facility if you click on it (TV cartoons in a nutshell). You should also add pillars at the end of walls so we can't see through them.

Add more than just key quests, please. And the crowbar (during the crowbar quest) is placed at the wrong side of the door.


The first note is made by me, right? So, why did I write it and then picked it up? Makes no sense. The two notes in the mansion map made no sense either to be honest. Looked like an advanced puzzle. Turned out all I had to do was finding a key.


You though of a story and it wasn't bad for a first made CS, but I rate all stories the same way and to be honest, this one was boring and empty. I decided to give it a 3/10 anyway though because it's a good start and you have potential.

I have already asked you this twice on your previous parts, but I have to ask you again. Why do you waste your time on ******** stories like this?

You show so much creativity and the level design is actually generally good, but the story line is garbage and the scares are terrible. Even the scares are creative, but they are still lame and predictable jumpscares.

I rated part I and II 4/10. Both the level design and some of the quests are really well made (so well done you even inspire me), but you have not improved at all in the slightest otherwise.

PLEASE, if you are going to make a story in the future, STOP making lame jumpscare stories! Not only are they extremly overused, but they suck. If you just took your time to make the scares and story line good as well, I'm sure I would love it and rate it 8-9+.

- More than one ending


- The classic "you wake up somewhere unkown". You did it well, but it's still lack of originallity
- Some puzzles were a bit hard to solve
- Drill did not have a description or name when it was fixed
- Really annoying when you force the player to turn around and look at the chasing monster
- Possible to speed run the story in 2-4 minutes (read conclusion)


For a first story it's actually really good! The level design is not unique, but you definitely spent a lot of time on it.

The story, despite the lack of originallity, turned out to be really well made as well.

Good job!

On a little side note. Please, don't force the player to look at the chasing monster! I was running forward, the character automaticly turned around and I ended up running towards the monster instead.

And when I encountered the curtain bug, I eventually tried to bug myself to the next part of the story using barrels. It turned out I was able to barrel bug me so much so I could speedrun the story in around 2-4 minutes when doing the escape ending. The whole glitching through doors using barrels can be done in more or less every story so it's not really your fault, I just wanted to point it out.

Since you told us it is going to be a troll story full of jumpscares, I'm not going to rate it a low score simply because it was a jumpscare story. But...


- It was scary sometimes
- A few creative areas


- Level design is boring and repetitive (with exception of the big grunt head part)
- 80% chase of monsters are in chase scenes
- Only key quests
- No story at all except for a brief description
- Low creativity (when it comes to quests, story etc)
- Short


Boring, repetitive and if you hate jump feasts and troll humour, a huge waste of time.

Amnesia: Sanctum Escaping

- No real story line except "you must get out" which is overused
- Monsters spawned infront of my face
- The exploding part made no sense

What to improve:

- You guys are very creative, but a lot of items are floating in the air, a lot of textures are glitchy (colliding with each other), and certain parts are just lame. Like when you crawl through a tunnel and see a level door at the end of it.

- Don't use only jumpscares. I am so used to them so I did not get scared even once, but I'm sure a lot of people were by the first 1-3 jumpscares, but eventually even scared players gets used to them.

- Make something else rather than the same old "you wake up at an unknown place, you must get out".

-"Read Nicholas notes, he will tell you where to go". Found 2 notes from him, and none of them really told me what to do.


It's just another jumpscare feast with lame scares and monsters spawning infront of your face. Some people said "the scripting is good". I barley saw any scripting except the quests and jumpscares. And it's not very surprising when the script files are 1-8KB huge at most.

The difference between this story and other lame jumpscare stories is the level design. Sadly though, I found a lot of floating items and texture glitches.

It's simply a bad story, not more, not less.

Trials of the Toymaker

Trails of the Toymaker delivers creative challanges and level design at it's finest. But I can't stop asking myself where the story line is. It barley is one.

You gave yourself a challange to see what you can make in two weeks, but that doesn't necessarily mean you have to upload it. If it weren't for the amazing level design and intresting ideas, I would probably not have liked this in the slighest, but even though it lacks what every single custom mod should have (not to mention how short it is), it still amazes me, and if you make a story in the future, I will be glad to play it.

Oh yeah, and by the way, don't do like The Chinese Room did, make nothing interactable. Being able to pick up stuff is one of many reasons why Amnesia is what it is today, don't take that away from us.

The Silver Key [Collapsing Cosmos]

This story is absoutely amazing! It really looks like you spent a lot of time on it.
Level design is stunning and the story is intresting. Not the scariest story I've played, but thanks to the well made atmopshere, it was pretty tense anyway.

The only "bad" things I can say about it is:

The quests were relativly easy. Some of them required some logic thinking, but still not very advanced and not hard to solve.

You don't use any supplies at all (tinderboxes, oil, sanity potions etc). They were not really necessary untill the "boss" battle (which were a challange), but they do give players a reason to explore more than required. As it is now, all I have to do is get what I need and move on. I don't need to search that extra room or check behind the pile of crates because it's nothing there anyway.

The final score is 9 because of the huge creativity and really intresting story line. And because I couldn't find any serious glitches and gamebreaking bugs.

9/10 - Awesome
