Please do consider open sourcing your source code (and keep your assets copyrighted) - I would personally love to fiddle around with the source to make it run on GNU/Linux.
Neat looking game!
I see that GNU/Linux is not mentioned in supported platforms - how come?
Hi - great game, looks very interesting!
Is the download mirror for the source code down? I'm receiving a 404 every time I try to download the 1.2 or 1.1 source code.
Will a standalone Linux download be available some time?
Has any further optimizations/enhancements been made since the new releases on USC and Desura?
Will the Linux binary be available through Steam like some other games do?
The joke is on you - you show no respect for the game developers.
Just wanted to say thank you for considering Linux! The game is beautiful and I'd love to be able to play it!
Can't wait for the Linux port!
Amazing graphics. Well done.
Looks really neat!
Any chance of a Linux port?
Why will it be more expensive?
I can understand that Desura might get a certain percent of the income, but considering the much bigger userbase that might see your game, I think it might not be necessary to raise the price.
I like what I'm seeing, but how come there's no Windows/Linux builds? (-:
Bushes and trees already move IIRC.
Ran perfectly on Arch Linux! Well done!
Do you have ALSA working with the full game?
Has anyone tried this out with ALSA?
padsp does not work with ALSA.
Please check if ALSA is or can be supported somehow.
Not in the demo atleast (AFAIK)
Good job on GamingOnLinux - I'm an active reader.
Keep it up!
Have you tried it with ALSA?
I'm not using Pulse however.
ALSA guy here.
Am I the only one having no sound in the demo on ArchLinux?
Tried running it through the terminal, but no errors appear at all.
Any news on the Linux support?
It's really starting to look nice, very beautiful.
Well done - Can't wait to try it out.
This looks so awesome! - and Linux support? Yay!
Registered and I'm very excited!
Thanks for Linux support!
Thanks for considering Linux! This looks really amazing
That's pretty amazing!
Cheers - I'm sure I'll enjoy it (-:
He's looking great! Looking forward to the game (-:
Aren't there plenty of gameplay in the trailer? I see quite a few gameplay scenes.
That looks... stunning!
Thanks for your Linux support! I will definitely give it a shot (-:
Any date when we'll see the Linux demo?
I really like the HUD! Good job.
The topleft HUD (portrait etc.) looks really awesome and unique (-:
Any date on the Linux port yet? (-:
Doesn't seem likely:
That's awesome! Thanks for supporting us Linux-fella's (-:
Quite sad there isn't any Linux demo of Blitz Max available.
Congratulations and thanks for supporting Linux. I'll definetly have a look at it!
I really like the art.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Have a nice trip. You deserve it!
Somehow I think the snowy background fits perfectly into the green nature.
I see. I was just curious about having Linux on the list of supported platforms (-:
•Must love Steam, and be willing to incorporate the SteamWorks API into the final product.
So you'll release a Steam-free Linux version as well? (-:
That's so awesome! Keep it up (-:
Same. I like the pixel-arty look.
This engine is simply amazing!
I hope to see alot use of it!
I'm glad to finally see some progress!
I wish you good luck and I'll eagerly be waiting for the full version!
Only problem with the animation is that he seems too "stiff", otherwise it's great work!
If we buy through Indievania, will we then be able to get it through Desura when it's supported on Linux?
Thanks for supporting us Linux gamers!
Sorry if the comment sounded rude, but that was just my first thought.
I do like the idea of having dogs in the game! I'm sure they'll come in handy whenever you open a door and suddenly a dog runs out chasing you.
Where are the shadows?
Is it on purpose you named it "Minecraft"? (-:
As you can see on the example .map file, you can create as many levels as you want.
Just do a new [levelX] in the .map file.
A new build will be up later.
That's some really good looking art you've got there.
It seems really unique, so keep up the good work!
Cheers, been waiting for the forums to be back up for some time now! (:
I'm really excited for the videos!
Awesome work Markuss!
I am excited to see what you can do with the Unigine engine!
I am having a hard time making the demo work on ArchLinux.
I've chmod'ed it (+x) but can't run it at all. Tried running it in terminal with ./ATypicalRPGDemo and sh ATypicalRPGDemo, no success.
Welcome Daniel Schubert!
I accidently clicked -1 karma, but surely it should've been a +1 karma, as this is so true!
And lose crossplatform? Please don't.
I've got to say though, that I've never really understood the title (:
