The BC-304 was a lot more effective though. As Carter said. The Daedalus was bulit around the Asgard Tech. While the X-303 had its Asgard Tech tacked on later. And you have to remember. The Daedalus and the Odyssey(before they had Asgard Beam Weapons) took out Hat'taks. And the Daedalus took out Wraith hives. But, in the end. They werent as effective ships now since they have the Asgard Beam Weapons.

I don't think that the technology worked in the end, because of the Ori Shielding on that satellite in Ethon.
