In the words of the Ancients: "We believe in the systematic understanding of the physical world through observation and experimentation, through argument and debate, but, most of all, freedom of will. I will not compromise the fundamental tenants of my devotion in order to preserve it."

Greetings All,
I am marauder76, Project Manager of the Stargate Productions Group. We are a group dedicate to developing a series of machinima based videos you your enjoyment.
We have three project in the works, they are
- Stargate: Vengeance
- Stargate: Tribute
- Stargate: Alpha Site (working title)
Stargate: Vengeance - our flagship series, work is proceeding slowly with this project, we have just released another promo video. We are striving to make this series a beaut, so we are proceeding with caution.
Stargate: Tribute - the new kid on the block, our fans / audience will decide on what they want to see in this series of videos. Most likely, you will see the first videos out from this series.
Stargate: Alpha Site - working title, will be a character based series, still needs some more thinking at this time. This series will most likely be going back to the roots of SG-1, a team going through the Stargate visiting other planets.
Check back here for more details later, I will update this with a little more information than the SGPG site.
Regards,
Marauder76
Project Manager

Well, no news has been posted about the machinima called Stargate Vengeance for a while.
Here is a little bit of an update:
Stargate Vengeance Development Team will be no more soon, we are renaming ourselves to the Stargate Productions Group (SGPG).
Development of the show is progressing slowly, we have a few new members who are breathing new life into this project and adding their input.
We are still looking for one or two more editors to assist us in the shows development, current programs being used for Visual Editing are Adobe After Effects, Sony Vegas and 3D Studio Max. If you are familiar with these programs and would like to help us, please contact me.
We are also looking for more creative writers to help with storylines and scripts. If you believe you could be of some help, please contact me.
We are also going to be developing our own web site, we will still be using MOD DB, but we will also have our own site.
To the fans of Stargate waiting for this project to finally come to fruition, please wait just a while longer, we are dedicated to developing this machinima and hope to start airing as soon as possible.

As some of you may be aware, the Stargate Vengeance Development Team are going to be making a series of episodes utilising the technology provided by the game Star Wars Empire at War, and the Mod from the Stargate Modding Group, Stargate Empire at War.
Our first official teaser has been posted on my profile page and the SGV DT site, and we expect to have a few episodes ready soon to air on Mod DB.
I was going to leave due to personal reasons, however, a couple of the members of the team requested I try and stay. Therefore I am now Assistant Co-ordinator and Lead Story Writer.
We are still looking for more help to produce the show, so if you believe you have what it takes, or if you wish to provide some of your voice talents to the show, PM me.

Here is some information about the game I would like to produce
Proposed Multiplayer or Skirmish Mode
Races / Factions
- The Tau'ri Alliance (Asgard / Earth / Free Jaffa / Tok'ra)
- The Goa'uld System Lords (Anubis / Apophis / Ba'al / Ra / Yu)
- The Wraith
- The Ori
- The Replicators (Asurans / Replicators)
Proposed Campaign Mode
- Campaign 0; The Ancients - Gameplay Tutorial (3-4 Missions)
- Campaign 1; The Wraith - War with the Ancients (8-10 Missions)
- Campaign 2; The Goa'uld System Lords - Interstellar Domination (8-10 Missions)
- Campaign 3; The Ori - The Holy Crusade (8-10 Missions)
- Campaign 4; The Tau'ri Alliance - The Fifth Race (8-10 Missions)
Intergalactic Maps
- Milky Way Galaxy
- The Pegasus Galaxy
- The Ida Galaxy
- The Ori Galaxy
The Ancients will not be listed as a primary playable race, from within multiplayer mode, since we do not know much of about the Ancients combat tactics, it would not be accurate. Most of the storylines on Stargate SG1 and Atlantis have demonstrated that the Ancients were peaceful and excelled in scientific research, even though I admit they created powerful ships, weapons and shields. They were not a warlike and conquering race. However, during campaign mode, Ancient technology could be found on various worlds which will have the effect of increasing the technical level of the above races / factions by varying degrees.
But to be fair for all gamers and fans, the Ancients would be used in a game tutorial to get a grasp of the game concepts.
The Replicators are more like a scourge on the galaxies and have no agenda but to make more of themselves, like a virus. They have their strengths and weaknesses against the various races / factions within campaign mode.
More information will come later.
