A few days ago, I said that an important announcement
would be made. However, I was in the need to wait for
'The Closure' to be stable before speaking about this
in details.
A few months ago, I made a blog post in which I stated
I was expecting to get a reply from an employer to get
a job at a company.
Sadly, and despite having sent several applications
to various places, I have not managed to get a work.
Now, I am going to try another approach, which requires
further studying, but in a different sector of this
domain.
What does this mean for future patches? I am afraid
I will be very busy in the next months, even years.
As for the patches that I managed to release, it is
my hope that they will allow people to play those
mods for a couple more years, ideally as long as
possible, until I find more spare time to work on it
and if I will still be interested.
I will leave my Github account open. People will be
able to take a look at the source code I made for all
the patches. Other than that, I will not be able to
find time to address any technical issue.
Sincerely,
malortie.
Thanks for all your hard work. Best of luck ;)
Thank you for all the patches! I hope you land a job.
Thank you for understanding the situation.
You are welcome, and I am glad to see
that it helped a lot of people.
Many thanks as well to anyone who contributed
suggestions, ideas to help improve these
patches.
You deserve a decent job after all these patches you made. Good luck on your future endeavors! You are cool. :)
Thank you for all your contribution for Source Modding.
Aww, I wanted to play "Bloodstone: The Journey Home". I'll miss your career already.
And SMOD2 as well (advanced HL2:EP2)
You deserve an award man!
@TKAzA
I appreciate your compliment.
However, it should be noted that the community is also responsible for this.
I am glad that people contributed comments, suggestions to improve the patches. I am very grateful for their participation.
