Flamethrowers are kinda useless weapons. Tactically they suck. Ok it's scary to fight but I doubt the zombies would be scared, especially in a video game. In Fallout New Vegas you need perks just for them so they don't suck too much. Flamethrowers are only good in real life (and TF2, yay) because it's scary and burned people are both hurt in their body and mind.

I'll bring something like a 5.56 revolver, a P90 with suppressor, a nail gun, a magic ray gun imbued with ancient power of the great gods and maybe a freeze ray. Or maybe I'll forget about bringin' weapons and just let my minions do the work.
Depending on the dangerosity of the experiment the room could use a sas and almost no furniture at all.
I agree with K05T4R, this place need more equipment that could lead us to guess what's the experiment.
I'm wondering how those consoles are working, because it feels weird to me they have a huge OFFLINE message on the screen and they all switch between red and green. I mean, when you use your computer the whole screen doesn't get red when you're offline.

Like I said about the computers/floor problem it seems that is all the same with almost anything. It's seems to be a problem about source in general. I think nothing can be done about that except minor changes in the textures, adding polygons or changing the light.
Yep, just checked with Unreal 3 mods and it's all source fault.

I really like the wall and the roof but you should do something with the computers because they look like you just put them here. Maybe you could do something with the tiles so it looks like it was built for the computers. Also I just thought, where are the chairs ?
Well I know I'm mostly talking about details any detail can turn a good game in a crappy one. I hope it will look great when realised.
The terminal is pretty nice but everything else is a bit lame. I mean, the floor, the tubes and the metal boxes are a kinda ugly. The tubes look likes stuff you put on the ground like they are furnitures. No offense though.
It reminds me of an old Star wars game and it's great.

Some maps and level would be easy but not all custom maps. And it will be great to be able to sneak around combines or teleports where you shouldn't go. Anyway some custom maps would be great with ModCom.
