Yea, pretty regularly.
Something in german o.o
I think it translates to something like "Area captured" or something like that.
Yea, you have to attach them first to use them. Check out the keyboard options menu to set a key for it. (For some reason the default keys don't like us *shrug*)
1. Can't really reverse it, but we don't really want to at this point either. Right now, people often speak other languages through voice chat which is (obviously) more realistic.
2. If we haven't added it already <.< we're not going to. ;)
Our website is down at the moment. Not sure why...
Yea, our website is down for some reason.
When it comes back up there is a full tutorial on our Wiki and on our forums.
I would just point to google, so if that doesn't help you then I don't know. Sorry =/
Singleplayer is a whole different ballgame.
That requires voice acting, scripting, good AI. We just don't have the resources for that sorta stuff.
It's not dead at all.
Download version 1.6, the latest. If you've never played, get the Full Installer.
There are 14 servers. Did you install just the patch, or the full version?
Like I told .Ravenblood below, that's a common error with mods. Try googling it.
Means there is a problem with your Steam login.
google that message for a bunch of solutions.
That "bug" you are talking about is the knockdown effect. You get knocked down and "winded" for a few seconds. It shouldn't go completely black, just get dim around the edges and blurry.
We've been having trouble with Desura, so 1.6 isn't on there yet.
It's being looked into.
All custom maps are linked on our forums, try downloading it from there instead.
What DirectX version are you running? Have you tried updating your graphics drivers?
It was made that way because of the aforementioned law. Over the past few years, it has come to light that mods are in the creative realm and that law no longer applies to them... but we didn't feel like redoing all of the textures =P
Source can't really handle dynamic gore like that, we would have to create gibs at the location of the player under certain circumstances and that would just look really fake.
As it is, there are clouds of blood when they get hit, so it's not too bad.
HL2 = Source
This runs on the Source 2007 engine
What happens when you try?
Did you download the 1.6 patch installer or .zip?
There is already a suppression system. Shots that pass by you or land near you drops your "morale" level and your stamina.
If you witness teammates dying, your morale and stamina drop as well.
When your morale drops too low your screen starts to get dark and it shakes. That is our suppression system.
I tried to upload it earlier but there was something wrong. Scott from Desura e-mailed me saying they are looking into the problem, so whenever they get it sorted.
Are you running 1.6?
Did you have 1.5 before that?
Did you install just the 1.6 patch or the full installer?
What are you talking about? There are 12 servers up right now.
Why do you even bother coming here?
We're not going to change the player model because they DON'T suck. If you don't like them, go play a different game and just leave us alone.
It didn't have many players due to problems with animations, now that those are basically resolved (or at least improved greatly) hopefully the community will pick up again.
