Magrathean Technologies, a small development team from Vancouver, B.C. Canada, presents its first game title "Incognito". Built on the "NeoAxis Engine", a very powerful next-generation game engine created by NeoAxis Group Ltd. Two guys named Kyle and Ron, and their financial guru Mike started Magrathean Technologies in 2006 and primarily worked online for clients abroad, it was and has been a group of 3 people. There are two programmers, and our financial officer.

You can still try half of each episode for completely free as shareware/demo so don't let the price discourage you from trying it if you really want to. Each episode provides about 2 - 3 hours of game play for your "average gamer"

Maybe in the future we could create a bundle for some discounted price to make it less steep for you, would that be acceptable?

This is one of the most professional looking "indie" games I have ever seen in my life. The game in it's current state blows 90% of everything else outta' the water and significantly raises the bar for the rest of us developers.

Much kudos/karma to you guys, keep up the great work and hope to pickup a copy when it's out of the oven. Take care.

We did the same thing with our game Incognito Episodes. As a small team you do what you can and the real goal is to make a fun game. The idea that you cannot have fun without photo-realistic graphics is just silly (especially if you grew up in 80 - 90's).

Of course though...haters always gonna hate ;)

As a fellow indie developer we agree with your points about extending product functionality into the cloud so that people with the pirated version end up missing out a lot (on cool features). Could even have leader boards and groups, achievements, high scores for different activities that make the investment just make sense and very much worth it.

Normally the argument is that "pirates offer a better product" well if you offer an even better one in that regard. Making the pirated version seem pale in comparison to a paid version with an account is a great way to encourage people to become customers :)
