Balancing wise the Nid AI is too passive unless you constantly pressure their base.
And Imperial tanks are just too tough, LRs in particular. I know they have 14 front but considerably weaker sides and a paper thin rear. I had 3 Hammerheads with railguns (strongest r-weapon in the game except for D-stuff) firing at one demolisher and barely killed him in under a minute. Fighting an IG army with 6-9 LRs and a bunch of sentinels needs some serious tactical effort.

Great new release for an already awesome mod! For the next update it would be nice if you could include some additional options for skirmish mode. I would like to see an option for unlimited defensive systems (turrets, if possible with anti tank and life upgrade) and one that disables Heavy Support Units (one for AI only and one for both). I don't think that it would need much modding and I'm surely not the only one who wants to see a thousand Gaunts dying in heavy bolter fire before charging the rest with an army of conscipts without annoying tank interference. I know I could play Ultimate Apocalypse but your balancing is just unbeatable.

Great work :) Just one thing: Instead of a unit's name and ability descriptions I've only got some kind of number/code. It is the same in the army manager. I kow its abeta, but is that normal or did I screw something up?

Really great mod guys!!
But I've got 2 questions: First, almost all units in skirmish games(in their respective buildings) and in the army designer have some weird code instead of a name and description. The same goes for all technologies. (I played the Dark Crusade version a lot, so I'm quite familiar with the icons, but it's still really hard if I have to guess every ability. I know its a Beta but are they supposed to appear that way? (I read some comments but couldn't find anyone with the same problem).

The second thing would be the AI. In at least one out of three games I get a "critical AI error" message that appears like the "you are victorious" message at the end and the game just stops. As I said, one out of three times, after ten minutes in the game. Additionally, if I try to play a map with less players than its supposed to, like a 3vs3 with just 5 players I get that message right at the beginning.

I just can't believe that those things are normal. MAybe some kind of corrupted download? (I tried reinstalling and redownloading it 2 times).
ps. I also have an older Version of the UA mod installed in the same folder. Do I need a clear Soulstorm folder or are the mods compatible?

This mod is really great and I can't wait to crush some Dark Eldar for the Greater Good. Would be nice if anyone could help me :)

Almost all previous comments considerung the date of the next version estimated it to be around jan/feb 2014. I hope that someone who is familiar with the development of this incredibly awesome mod would say something. either to announce the mod as dead or a possible date for the actual release.

did you try to delete the game AI by germanicus? I don't know if they already fixed it but there was a problem with reinforcements.

somehow I have the feeling that many of these "sigmar preserve us!" errors occur when there are high elves on the battlefield. I did everything that has been recommended so far to get the game going and besides fighting battles as high elves everything is great. Too bad that they're my favorites... some advice would be nice.

Everytime i play a battle during the campain myself (especially when its a siege battle) the game chrashes after about 2 or 3 minutes with a "sigmar preserve us...." pop up IN WINDOWS STYLE (??) any idea how to fix this ? please help me.

I've got the same problem and no idea how to fix it. The game crashed (all the time) in the previous versions but this "sigmar preserve...." thing is entirely new to me.

I've got the same problem. Even if i get past turn 1, 2 or 3 it still crashes at a 50% rate after finishing a battle...I spend half of my "playtime" saving and restarting the game.

Yep empire but you can´t recruit them (they are i think randomly triggered) unless you change the recruit folder.
