Nice piece of work! Had to do some tweaking in my DosBox settings to get it to run but pretty good. I'll do a review sometime, may even shoot a Time To Play episode of this mod... Pretty awesome so far. :)

I've drawn and painted for years, Wolf3D's not the only thing I have in life...
I've also done work with Quake 3, Morrowind, Skyrim...
The thing is I don't see Krucible as a failure, I see it as brilliant (or else I wouldn't have worked on it so long to see it come to fruition). My decision on this comes from the 2 weeks after it's release where after getting off work (paying retail job) I check messages and see "Bugs. Fix it." It was endless, unpaying, and wouldn't let up. What pushed me over the edge though was when I said "no more work and bugfixes" one of the players tried to get ANOTHER coder to fix everything he had in mind. I really found this disrespectful towards me and the coder as it feels like we creators, artists of our own worlds and kings of our creativity, are expected to work without end to satisfy everyone else. Those last 2 weeks creating patches while juggling with my personal life and getting little sleep seriously felt like the longest 2 weeks I've ever done modding, and I've been at it for 13 years...
The exit is the final boss (hooded guy). I checked and you're right, he was missing and I had to reuploaded the v1.1 gamemaps patch to fix this... Downloading that patch now will fix that but if your save is on lvl23 you'll have to reload an earlier save...
Hint in the City of Ghosts: You're chasing someone bleeding out. Follow the blood pools, it's not that far of a trek... :)
That one's a tough one, just gotta hammer them as best you can and get to the exit... If you give me time, I can get you directions to beat the level though will say you're not missing much, that final level merely hints at her fate in Krucible and the prisoner in the opening level. ;) ;)
Iron key is in barracks all the way to the left of the start elevator and the bronze key is in the mess hall all the way to right of the start elevator. :)
Also, I just finished the v1.1 patch which fixes bugs and adds some new content... Realize your on the last level but you may wanna check it out...
Looks like an awesome game, is there gonna be a single player mode or be MMO only?

Straight to it: Tara Carmichael, Level 23! Not really a design flaw but there is a trick: Run past the room to alert the guard, don't kill him until he opens the door. Killing him inside the doorway causes the door NEVER to be closed. Run inside and grab the key! ;)
I know this kinda puzzle takes away from the fast paced action of the rest of the game, but as the game progressed I wanted to make it a bit more challenging and maybe a little frustrating.
I do plan on making a sequel, one with a more open world adventure to it. The 2 Nemesis are in fact, the same guy. There's some secret levels that'd let you bypass one or both of them and face different bosses.
Right now though, busy with Krucible, life, and some other projects. But yes, REU2 is something I DO want to work on. This was just meant to be a quick techdemo for Krucible but it begs for it's own adventure. ;)

Understandable. It would've been difficult however to make it creepy with just slow old school zombies... I guess I could've had some that barf like RE2 and RE3 but eh, this was meant as a quick release tech demo for Krucible which took longer than I thought it would. :D lol

I think anything is possible with the right coding expertise. Strafing keys I KNOW is possible, but one of the last times I experimented it (Return of Dragons, I think) it ONLY works on the keys you program into the code, not interchangeable in the controls section...
In other words, you program the A&D keys to strafe and a player like me (Who hates the WSAD controls, grew up with using arrow keys) kinda feels left out on. Personally, I've never had an issue using the ALT key or the MOUSE2 button with the arrow keys but I dunno, I'll look into it.
Yes, I think I see what you mean. In my mind, him saying "go south" is 180 degrees from getting the key. So yes, I believe that is a good point to fix as well as the "follow the stream" directions. As it is, I've heard "I can't get out of the cave" even after step by step instructions from emailed from me. lol So I might decide to rework the mapping a little, but definitely rework the directions.
Funny story about my mods being connected, actually they aren't meant to be. Krucible, Federal Cases (Tara Carmichael), and Blazer Forces (Jemanie Daviddson Unchained, Frayed) are meant to be separate... I have considered doing cross-overs though not really 100% sure how I'd implement it. But it's a good question, and thanks for asking. :)
Well, yeah those mutated tentacles have razor sharp bone-spikes protruding from them and they flail about like crazy. That's why you gotta move slowly around corners and blast em as soon as you see one, then run past that hole in the floor before it impales you!
As for the levels being too complex, I've heard it before. This ISN'T meant to be a run 'n' gun experience like Doom or other Wolf3d games. Originally it was gonna be a quest based and open world RPG, but I decided to take my knowledge and make a Wolf3d mod like no other.
Trust me man, when you get out of that complex prison cave, you're gonna be in a town and just be wowed. I hope you continue to play it and find it cooler as you progress. :)
If I'm thinking of the same EDGE you're thinking of, that's a Doom engine. This is a Wolf3d mod which uses a totally different file system than Doom.
Just run the EXE/Application file called "Resident Evil Unleashed" inside the unzipped folder and the game will start.
There are a few bugs, but looking at the source code I can't see what's causing them. Some of the reports I got was game crashed, played the same level again and it was perfectly fine.
Pornography is explicit representation of sexual activity in entertainment. The game series already features sex scenes and in Mass Effect 1, even HAD nudity.
All the developer is doing is making the scenes more believable in Mass Effect 3 and not "Here's Shepherd making out in the shower wearing their underwear!" No one showers in their underwear.
You're classifying nudity as pornography. What's next, claiming the statues of David and Venus De Milo are smut and need to be censored because boobs and ***** is visible?

My first modding was barely under 15, came across some editors for Wolf3d and I was playing around with them to figure out how to do what.
Made some cool map sets which I regret never backing up...
Actually, MS-Paint (Originally known as Paintbrush) was released with every version of Windows.
When I was kid I used to play around in Win3.1's Paintbrush.
Ha! Now THAT would be a pretty good add-on/plug-in!
I suppose not, I don't know who that is. :P
