EA has mangled the C&C canon enough not to be taken seriously, and though i'm glad to see everyones favourite Murderous Evil AI back we cant place too much faith in a console exclusive ending, if anything i'd say that makes it even less canon than everything else in KW. (in my view the events of KW simply did not happen even if the game itself had a few good ideas)

I love CABAAL but he's not the dark side of NOD he's a gestalt artificial organism (many human brains makes his personality unpredictable) created by the brotherhood who then becomes self aware and Hi-jacks the Brotherhood for his own ends. He doesnt actually care for NOD's philosophy or goals, only his own ambitions.

i gotta disagree with you ThaneWulfGharn for many reasons,

1) yes Cyborg's were originally CABAAL's idea but he was using the Brotherhood's flesh to do it, if he's been in hiding/deactivated for some years where is he getting the bodies? This is why full robots would be more appropriate.

2) see point #1 he's been out of commission for some time and so would not have the resources to become a full fledged faction. CABAAL may be dead or at the very least his powers are greatly diminished but some of what he created might have survived, This is why i believe he should be support faction and his units should be available to all sides, if the appropriate building is captured. Also i'd say it adds more richness if his units are lost spoils from sometime after the events of Firestorm. If he is to reappear it should be in a limited way - his time is passed

nice idea but i'd keep cyborgs for NOD and have the CABAAL faction be Robots under the control of his AI, maybe instead of a full faction i'd have it as support faction similar to Mutant Outpost. Perhaps this would be a good place to use a variation on the old Venom model or maybe introduce some KW style units (Mantis, maybe reskin some of the Marked of Kane infantry) and possibly even a [weakened for balance] Core Defender Epic Unit.

it could be too baddas for a T2 unit, crush ability and heavy armour i'd say would put it in T3 but its hard to say without playing it. I wonder what is the most effective counter vs the Crusher? Bombs perhaps, maybe artillery...?

Awesome i love the Forgotten Monster Truck already! Hope we get to mess with the dragons in world builder though, the model is too nice to just be a joke for 1 day. Kinda reminds me of the extra bit in C&C1; with the dinosaurs.

Maybe elements of the previous Mothership could be combined with the Leviathan, i liked the way the last mothership used to produce Stormriders, maybe this feature could be brought back for Leviathan. I think this would help regaurding its ability to withstand attack and might also balance its range issues as well as providing cover fire when it repairs itself.

works with original disc for C&C3, my advice is to track down a physical copy they can be found v cheap these days (i got a back up disc for less than £1 - my original disc is about to crack in half because of years of almost constant use. Thanks to Tiberium Essence being so awesome!)

@Chosen-One: Use tungle for public games or Hamachi for setting up private rooms but choose 1 or the other because these programs conflict with eachother, then just play using the "Network" tab from the game menu.

you can make your own private room for games with stuff like Hamachi or there is Tunngle with a public room just for TE games, but Hamachi and Tunngle dont get along so only have one of these installed on your system at any one time (they REALLY HATE each-other).

Next step is to load the game and click the "Network" tab on main menu, then everyone else in whatever room you are using should be visible and you can set up a game.

i really think the Banshees should be left as they are and be a T4 unit (available once Chemical plant is built, because their weapons and fuel are tib based). Not to be the equal of the epic/tacitus units but to be an effective counter measure vs them (as this is really where the unit excels), yes they are powerful but they have a limited ammo capacity so i'd say this is balanced add to that thier relative fragility compared to most other air units and i feel very little if anything at all needs to be done to them, except perhaps have manual switching between air and ground targeting systems. I'd say their primary role is as a counter to epic units but they can do other things too - they are supposed to be a more "unfocused" multi-role unit.

why? because it's unneccessary for the TE mod, and while it has SOME good ideas it gets so much wrong (particularly when concerned with the Brotherhood of NOD) and its a real bitch to remove it from your hard drive unless you use a software removal program. Oh and in multiplayer it desyncs ALL OF THE TIME. Quite possibly the worst expansion pack of all time ever on any system.
