I refuse to play do to the overwhelming amount of issues I find with a run through on Master.
Patience is a virtue that would have been better for Holden to keep with his decisions to release the mod early.
A **** ton of people are...I'm dissapointed primarily with the miserable weakness of mutants and the sniper pistols during the day yet blind and deaf NPCs at night.
I honestly prefer both, but I'd prefer information that I can read as opposed to a picture that can leave me with a mess load of questions.

Holden said he wanted realism. Sniper pistols =/= realism. The fact still remains that their is really nothing that sets this mod too far apart from other SoC mods.
Are you just dying a graphic overhaul or are you adding various things to the game like weapon/armor upgrades and what not?
Also, if it isn't too late, the one thing that would make this mod better than any other (although I have no power to do it myself) is if the A.I actually hid behind cover instead of firing in the open. I don't know if that is possible, but that would make the game dramatically harder I would think.
Edit: Looked at the screens for the older mod and it looks amazing.
It also feels like Lurk 1.1 was extremely over hyped for what it turned out to be: just another graphic+weapons mod with a few twists when it was suppose to be revolutionary for SoC.
No, the game is very, very easy. It killed me fairly often at first, then I started moving at night in which the NPCs are blind and deaf as long as I don't go into any light, so yes, the game is easy.
Lurk 1.1 =/= balanced. Fighting in the day is suicide on all levels, but fighting at night is like turning on God mode as well as mutant sucking so much, the Psedogiant being a perfect example.
This game is too easy. Nothing really sets it too far apart from SoC Complete except that SoC Complete was slightly harder because every thing didn't die nearly as quickly. For his attempt to incorporate planning, the medkits now only take a second or two longer instead of instant which isn't that hard to adapt to...just get behind cover for a second. Enough medkits to heal a small army + near insta death for NPCs = easy. I played through it on Master and wasn't challenged at all. Sure, I died every now and then, but I just reloaded and went around a different way and killed them.
Hurry up with the release! This mod seems like it would make CS perfect since it takes away the story and allows just an open world, fun Zone...but it will have to have a lot more missions and assignments since it does get rid of the story, which while pointless, did give a few hours of entertainment.
Tested, uninstalling. Too easy, the AIs are still too stupid. I died every now and then, but that is when I charged at them for ***** :P
I'm considering trying CS again with a mod (CS Complete wasn't that good)and was just wondering, does it make the game ridiculously easy like it did with SoC? I uninstalled it for SoC when I got to the garbage and found so many bandits with artifacts and everything.
Would you by chance know where I can try the Desura Beta?
