Did you guys fix the keyboard layout getting deleted in alien swarm whenever you started up Hyp?

By the way I'd love to help you guys out testing, I played quite actively for a few weeks when v0.1 came out.

I really think the Machine guns on the Longbow Apache and Sea Harrier Jet should do more damage to infantry, it basically does no damage to infantry in "Softcore" and only just about manages to kill a couple of MODELS on Hardcore, while the missiles are potent enough, the machine gun are kinda useless.

Played through the PS2 version of Fire Warrior... Damn, it's a lot harder on the PS2 than on the PC.

To anyone in doubt about it, the Bolter in that game does have automatic fire.(Kinda)
The secondary fire mode fires 2 bolts on burst fire which is basically the same as auto since you can hold the trigger in and it'll empty your clip. Also the rate of which it fires it's bursts.

You destroy the Dreadnoughts with Space Marine missile launchers, and the Obliterators with Rail rifle shots to the face, of course you have to dodge their fire too :P

Most of these enemies had some sort of melee attack or would kill you if you got too close, with exception of the Obliterators and Dreadnoughts.

Even the first Imperial Guard sergeants you face will kill you if you try to melee them with your sword.
I don't really see how you make it out to be so easy to melee enemies. Except maybe guardsmen, it's always easier to just shoot them in their faces.

There was no Chaos Terminators in that game, only Chaos Space Marines, Chaos Raptors, Chaos Sorcerers, Obliterators, Chaos Dreadnoughts, Deamon Princes, 1 Chaos Spawn and finally a Greater Deamon of Tzeentch - The Lord of Change.

I play the game intensively; if he should even have a "chance" of going up against THE Swarmlord he would of course need the best upgrades he could get and a Power Fist - he has a power sword, which won't even scratch that thing. Also, of course he'd need an Army of tanks and guardsmen behind him.

The other screenshot is taken from the Titanium mod, where the XV89 (front) has the XV89 weapon holders (see missile pod) and the XV8 (back) has the regular weapon models (see missile pod) while in FoK mod both the XV8 and the XV89 use the same weapon models, I want the XV8 to use their own weapon models like you would see it on the miniatures, and not the XV89 weapon models.
Like seen as so: Forgeworld.co.uk
Games-workshop.com

To whomever is in charge, if you read this, please, if you're not going to change it, could you at least make it optional so you can choose yourself which models you have for your XV8?
And by this I mean I found the files that governs the XV8 models, It's in DoW40k_FoK/Data/Art/EBPS/races/tau/troops/file:
xv89_crisis_suit.LUA
xv89_crisis_suit.whe
xv89_crisis_suit.whm
If I remove these files the XV8 crisis suit dissapears, replaced by an error box.
If you could include the files that makes the weapons look like they do in the retail version, I'd be happy to do it myself. If I'm wrong about this please enlighten me.

Please, I implore you, this is all I ask of you: Can you change the weapon models on the XV8 Crisis battle suit to it's default model: like shown in this image Moddb.com
instead of Moddb.com
I have tried all my knowledge to revert them back myself but I have failed, from every aspect I see this mod it's all but perfect except this detail.
I have asked for this several times before, but I have been met with silence or deviating replies.

I want this change so the in-game models closer resembles their miniature originals, and not some mixture of the XV8 and XV89.
Please, it's all I ask for.

I have a list of things I want to suggest as well as bug/fixes I'd like done.

1. The Ravager unit for Scrin only costs 225 credits! An insanely low cost for an advanced infantry unit that can tear through infantry and vehicles alike, if I remember correctly they can even attack aircraft. A proper price for them should be something like 900 credits.

2. GDI Sonic weapons like the Sonic Emitter Tower and Shatterer should be able to damage and destroy Tiberium crystals(they currently aren't), like they're supposed to in the canon/story. Contrary, the Nod Flame weapons cut through Tiberium "like a plasma knife in Polly butter!" ahem. So making them able to damage and destroy crystals would be a nice fix.

3. The Nod Nuclear Missile should leave a radiation fallout zone behind for a time after impact, that would damage and kill infantry over time, much more quickly than leaving your infantry units in a Tiberium field.
This area would be the same size as the immediate area of effect by the missile's blast and last for something about 30-45 seconds, with proper fx of course.

4. Lastly I'd really like to see the GDI Orca and Nod Venom being able to attack other aircraft in air to air combat, simply because it would seem more realistic, they wouldn't, of course be nearly as effective as Firehawks / Wraith Fighters, but just so they could actually engage eachother when facing off. Some damage stats should be re-evaluated to fit this balance, but I think overall it would be a nice change, GDI Rocketeer Troopers should still be able to beat a venom in 1 on 1 combat, simply because they deal way more damage. But yea I'd really like to see this change.
