Video game composer and music producer, Kevin Greenlee, alias LoudCore, is one of the many new talents with lots of potential emerging from the state of Alabama. Ever since 2006, when he first put his hands on audio creation software, he has been perfecting his style and working hard so that one day he would get recognition for his creation of music. Since then, he has had the chance to compose for a wide variety of independent games. Kevin is getting more and more recognitions and requests from everywhere around the world from his music. In exception, increasing his sound quality is most important. Kevin Greenlee alias LoudCore continues to improve to become one of the best producers out there.

Anything is good for ambient really. Except EnergyXT. You just need the correct VST's and Soundfonts.

I launch it and it opens. The screen is black. then it goes into this windowed mode, and then crashes??
Why is this?

It is needed. This can help promote indie games and probably help them sell better as well. Indie games are kind of "buried" on moddb's site. So it's time for them to stand out.

Well, FL studio is nice for ambient stuff. But reason also does the trick. It actually just totally depends on your style of workflow. I have heard protools and stuff have been pretty nice for ambient. Totally depends. I suggest maybe Cubase? Not sure. I made ambient stuff like 3 years ago and I used FL studio. So, depends on what you like to work with. Do some more research.

I would say EnergyXT. Its like $70 or so, and it's multiplatform (WIN, MAC OSX, LINUX). Although, if you want to take a higher step, go with FL studio. $100-$300 for it. Unless you just want to go all out, you can get Reason, Pro-tools, and Cubase. But, it just totally depends on your type of workflow and the type of music you plan on making.

Hey, I never knew there was a group like this on moddb. Well, Hello everyone. My name is Kevin and of course, I do make music. I'm not like most artists with pirated versions of eastwest products or something (I'm proud to own legit software ;) ). I have and currently am working on songs for some mods and indie games at the moment.
Here is some of my samples just to introduce myself. <- Really like that one. <- Like this one too, but doesn't become good until the middle. Not the strongest of orchestra sounds either, but gets the job done.

Thanks and nice to meet all you guys ;)

Don't just end a game because you loose interest in it (if that is the case). Because, if you do start another game... it will just be canned like your first one. Try and build a team. Try to bring something that will WOW people. So far, the game looks very promising with MUCH potential. Just try and try until you have something that is playable. If you really don't want to work on this any longer than move into something you are good with. Make sure you are making the correct decision. I hope you do something awesome in the future ;)
