Why did Barin leave? Will he return???
Now they're at a slow bug fixing and engine updating stage. They've got only 2 programmers Barin and Skyloader, so it'll take them quite awhile to do things.
Someone destroyed my mad plussing.:(*shedsemotears*
OR just die of happiness. Very ironic.
Funny of the day:
Tomorrow sounds good.
XRay 1.0 wasn't made for coop mind, so it would be too much work. The devs are struggling really hard as it is already, for them this is the last thing on their mind, plus the whole game is designed around sp for immersion and survival feel so this would totally go against that idea.
Is there a way to fix that? Crytek did it and you guys can too. Imagine how much more awesome the game would look if the grass distance was maxed out. That alone would be an epic achievement.
Amazing pics dez0wave! I can't effing wait!
This reminds me of CS Marshes. Rich and full of detail.
Just another day at the Monolith electro camp fire...
Damn, pics just keep getting better and better. Can't wait!
Is this real life?
What where how why?
Aren't there progs that can dub voices to match any recorded voice? Isn't that how they do all the animes and other stuff?
Can you expect alot of randomness from all factions or are some strictly role oriented?
Damn, if only it was possible to make the grass draw distance reach the horizon without messing up it's appearance.
Vodka feeling or rasta as well?
Wasn't there a player mod for SoC? Also, I'm guessing the music must've been playing too quiet because the sound files need to be synched with devkit (what a pain the *** procedure), right?
Another great vista!
I hope that Kamaz is driveable. Makes me want to play build 1580 again.:D
That's just how I remembered the forest near my village - lush, untouched wilderness overgrowning with bushes and tall grass. Great job dezowave!
Well, first GSC would get the programmers to help release LA faster and fix all those annoying engine bugs that stall the rest of testing and development. Once that is done and LA is ready, GSC would put it on Steam for sale at around $20 and the programmers would get payed (or GSC if it invests in paying them first) and the game would be out alot faster. Having one or 2 guys debug and fix the engine is one thing, having 5 or more experts do it would get the job done times faster and dezowave would actually focus on development rather than on fixing, which gets under ones skin pretty fast.
What if GSC put this on Steam for like $20 and gave you some pros to help, or too risky of a business? Stalker isn't that popular in the west and in the east people pirate alot, so I don't know. What says GSC and the dezowave team? Have you guys discussed this with GSC and what were their thoughts on this?
