Yes warp pillars save space, but isnt that the whole thing to building experimentals? Shouldnt space be something almost required? I mean it makes things interesting with large gantries. I think gantries add to the gameplay, I think the pillars take away. I would rather have a factory then a teleportation device. Thats just me.

ah ok sounds good. So............. hopefully the next version is coming out soon because i had to quit playing because of some of the bugs, like the fort bug and even large see battles were lagging sometimes.

thanks not sure what settings i would use. I heard that the siege battles were some bug with slow down and maybe the naval battles as well but if you do fine in both then i dont know.

AMD Athlon 3.9 1100 Thuban

Ge-Force 580 GTX 1.5 Video Ram

8 Gigs or Ram running between 1500 to 1800

300 Gig HDD 10,000 RPMs

So yea, I know its not my computer, it must be engine slowdown or something. Its a good mod, just needs some work in my opinion, but I really appreciate everything you do VADER.

Is anyone else having issues downloading this from here? I try the mirror site, download it, and windows cannot open the file. Windows says "Windows cannot open folder. The compressed (zipped) Folder Filepath is invalid."

I downloaded 7 zip, opened the file, tried to install it and get an error after install saying "Empire Destiny of War has not been totally installed because of the following reason: File corrupt or unreadable: Data\unpack_EOD_Big_files.exe. You will have to run this utility again to complete installation of Empire of Destiny."

Am I the only one having this issue? Please help thank you.

This mod is very nice but this lags even on my computer.

AMD athlon 6 core 3.8 OCed

Asus crosshair IV

8 gigs of memory

nvidia ge-force 580 GTX 1.5 Gigs of video RAM

It usually only lags during huge battles, but I would think that how old this game is and how powerful my computer is, I shouldnt have any issues running this, but I do on huge battles still. So yea. When I say huge battles i mean

10 or 15 star destroyers, 2 or 3 of those new star destroyers, guesstamating on around 50 to 100 fighters, some misc units. This is not including all the enemy forces which are ALOT as well!

its pretty cool besides the fact that the conquest dont work as of yea and when it does work it will not be a free roam or like regular conquest. There will also be no land units which kinda breaks it for me anyways. I also understand that it would take a long time to do land units as well but for just the space skirmish gameplay its pretty cool. Gets really repetitive though without a proper conquest map. Besides these things its an ok mod to play every now and then maybe with a friend or something. Not real good on single player though.

if you installed it right you should just be able to click on your forces of corruption short cut and it should just work.

again... something needs to be done about the tie fighters. I tell them to guard something and they just sit their. They will initially go to the guard area or target like a capital ship, but once i move the capital shop they just sit there like an idiot. Another thing, the ranges on the weapons of the empire need to be fixed man. I am having rebel and other ships shoot me from way far away and my ships cant even return fire because their range seems so short or something. Maybe its just the ai but something seems wrong to me. Also, Though little at walkers seems bugged as well. Im not talking about the regular small at walkers im talking about the modded ones. None of my stuff can shoot them even if they are just standing in one place. Its kinda stupid. I also think the exicutor should have stronger sheilds it being that big of a ship and all. Thank you for this overall great mod though.

LOL i have version 2.3 beta. LOL im way outdated. It worked fine with hardly any crashes but there were alot of bugs. The Star destroyers seems to have a very short range on their weapons, while the rebels and other factions seemed to have a way bigger weapons range. My Executer would hardly fire at anything and its weapons range sucked! It didnt seem to fire 2 feet in front of it. Its shields seemed very week as well and just wasnt worth taking into battle or to even create it. I hope the newer version is better. Also, the rebels and consortium seem to be more of an empire that rebels or pirates. I dont think they would have that many HUGE capital ships at their disposal. I like a challenge but i like things to be practical as well.
