Just keep using the force!
Quoting Mr. Burns: "Exactly..."
Wha, but, wha? WHAT???! The last image blew my mind.
Aww carp, it's sad you had to let go that part of the game. I was very much looking forward to it. Nevertheless the alternative seems very awesome enough too.
Holly crap, it looks like a brand new game.
Do you plan any updates?
Based on what?
Does this mod feature campaign maps?
So.. this is pretty much dead right?
For better or worse, there's a official pc coming. Battlefleet Gothic: Armada
Sooner than expected. There's a semi public beta of 1.6 right now over Total War Center forums.
It looks rad!
Anddd they finally did.
And this is for blitzkrieg too or what? Don't understand.
Does it work with the steam version?
The gog versions works just like the retail one, that's it, you don't have to fiddle with the launcher from steam, and you can play several different mods and vanilla without having to change stuff every time on steam.
Plus is all digital and total DRM free. You can say it has the best of both worlds.
You have the steam version?
I would recommend you to get the GOG version which has been recently launched, get it while is hot (and if you have mercy on a unfortunate fella, buy me one :D )
The most common complain about the mod is how feeble republic ships are and how overpowered the CIS are.
Empire at war at only 12$ on GOG, get it while is hot (and if you have mercy on a unfortunate fella, buy me one :D )
All this is really wonderful! I expect nothing but good fortune for you in all your endeavors my good man. I'm sure this game will revolutionize the way games are done, and if not it will be at least a bright reminder of why the hell people started making games in the first place.
I think that is relevant!!!
It seems and feels excellent. Clean but practical and let you see those sexy graphics!
My new desktop wallpaper.
It's beautiful indeed.
Over the waters, in the streets of Venezuela, over our own deep troubles, today we weep alongside you on this tragedy. Stay strong.
Excellent, it has far more towns now, a better starting point.
Whaatt???? OH MY GOD!
Clean interface with lot of options however. I can't wait to have my claws all over this!
"with some animated parts to further add to depth."
Comments like this are what make me realize how awesome the game is and will be.
Ship energy and abilities make more sense like this in the traditional sense of the word sense :P hehehe
Abilities activated by a single click that rely upon the amount of power at hand are classic and proven to work. May I recommend something perhaps in between what you have thought before?
Besides the one time click abilities (like shoot faster for x amount of seconds) you can implement toggle-able stances, which would be "permanent" abilities that would change the balance of a unit, ie. 20% more shields but 30% less speed. Down the road the research tree could modify said abilities and even if you like there could be mutually exclusive ones so you either research a better mechanism of diverting power from engines to energy weapons or shields but not both.
Dunno, there could be many options that should be relatively simple to program, but hard to balance.
May I say this is bonerific? Is that a word? This is like the pic of the month or the year or something. It has the UI, the backgrounds, the textures, the weapons... had it be some fighters and a carrier around it would have summed up pretty much all the lately work.
I quite like them.
Uh oh, it resembles somewhat the support frigates and carriers. Specially the white panels.
In other news I left quite a wall of text on the forum, hope is not a problem.
It puts a good perspective on the size. Also it's a good homage to Homeworld and perhaps Startrek too?
Me quiero volver chango!
That looks seriously cool. I demand a video!
Excellent! The details, specially the little ones are what bring life and character to a game. Those are the things that let you immerse into it's lore and do tell great things about the makers of the game.
That's seriously awesome.
Oh yeah, easy piece. I actually did that before but didn't saw it.
Which it's the hidden unit?! You must tell me!
Are you using a Igo Yougo or Wego system?
Great! Eagerly awaiting the next update.
Oh yeah!!! Astrometrics does sound awesome!
Lets hope there's an indie option/substitute when it comes to that.
Well to be honest the game is about 40% done now, so it's about 20~25 years left now.
Bay12games.com there's info about it for those that want to know more.
About the possibilities, I think you have a sensible approach, once the core is done you can move onto bigger things. Using a tablet as a command console of a capital ship sure sounds like a neat idea, I can see people putting them on the couch arm, pressing the buttons and shouting commands in the imaginary bridge of a living room.
Or using Oculus Rift(that's the name) to see from a fighter cockpit perspective.
Yup, look at Dwarf Fortress, Toady has a dev plan of around 40 years or more, and people is waiting patiently, btw he just released a new version for those that didn't know.
You know, when you release the game and I muster the money to buy it, I might as well never sleep again, my fiancée will probably hate your guts too.
Was missing your updates.
Excellent! It's wonderful news!
I hope BFG finally gets the mod it deserves since GW is too pants in the head retarded to try to do a video game for it.
Holly canoli... that's really an awesome UI.
The images a the upper right corner get created automatically from the ship model or are a separated image?
I'm in love with the attention to detail of this game. For example the rotating and aiming turrets, that alone sets it apart from most other games.
How much fighters can carry?
Hi, how do I add you as a friend? If you want to of course.
Holly ***** that's big. How big can a map go up in this engine?
Dude, sorry to bother but would you tell me how to merge the Halo mods?
