Sorry for asking, but where are the unit files located of this mod? And how do I open them to edit? Because I would like to change some of the unit files (basically the T-90 seems a litle too weak in my opinion, I would like to increase his hit points a little bit.)
This is a very good mod btw, you did a real good job on it.
We don't need to see the L2 fighting inferior & outdated weapons to prove that it's a good tank.
LOL
>Shot-traps
>2012
SERIOUSLY GUYS what the hell.
nope, you cannot damage or destory specific parts of a vehicle in this game, the game mechanics don't work that way. You can only damage the tank's lifepoints and when it's reduced to ZERO the tank is destroyed.
are you saying the Leopard 2A4 is ugly? really? :0
Will you add new sound effects for explosions?
aren't these enough units to put in a demo already?
lol stop whining guys, seriously what is wrong with you? we can be happy to get the full mod soon FOR FREE, they're putting a lot of hard work into it and you don't even have to pay them a f**king coin. So show a little bit respect and be patient.
And in the meantime, this will do. I mean what is more awesome than pwning the sh*t out of a GALACTIC FREAKING EMPIRE with a cool German kick *** tank?
>target for aircrafts
>kamakiezas
did you mean kamikaze?
Wikipedia? Really? That is almost worse than posting a picture from google images lol. j/k. but it belongs better to AFV group imo
thank you good sir, very informative. have a nice day
how do i edit unit's attributes? you know what i mean, like damage and hitpints etc. where are the files located that can be edited? if any
IS-2:
chassis: 120mm front glacis @ 42° = 152mm LOS.
turret front: 110mm LOS
IS-2m (modified IS-2 version used in 1945 in Berlin)
chassis: 120mm front glacis @ 60° = 240mm LOS.
turret front: 110mm LOS
Tiger II:
chassis: 150mm front glacis @ 50° = 230mm LOS.
turret front: 180mm LOS
IS-3:
chassis: 110mm front glacis @ 56° = 193mm LOS
turret: 220mm at the front, sides + rear
So we can say the late IS-2m had the best front protection for the hull, but worst at the turret. The Tiger II had the better protection at the turret, however a little inferior to the IS-2m, but much superior to the regular standard IS-2. The IS-3 has worse protection at the hull than both, Tiger II and IS-2m, however it had the best overall turret protection with 220mm allround.
For the ones who don't know the difference between IS-2 and IS-2m, you can see it in google pictures. The version in Company of Heroes is the IS-2m, by the way...
Looks nice? if you like Pro-Russian bias maybe then I'd say yes.
Not fantasy, as Panzert mentioned above it was a real concept. and if you were not aware of this before, more than half of all tanks in this game are either prototypes or just concepts that never left the drawing boards... that's why we call it "world of tank prototypes", where Russian fanboys naughty dreams come true.
did your team sleep or how do you explain the 14 vs 1 kills difference?..
X'cuse me, what has the Abrams got to do with THIS? . . . they have nothing in common or am I missing smth?
So Leopard 2A6 and Challenger 2 (weighing heavier than a TIGER I) is not considered to be a heavy tank? How does that makes sence? That would mean the Tiger wasn't a heavy tank either? Can't be.
Modern (western) main battle tanks still ARE HEAVY tanks, just combined with much stronger engines (to deliver good enough power/weight ratio), better speed and better maneuverability.
but they still weigh as much as a WW2 heavy tank like Tiger, Panther ir IS-2. So saying modern MBTs aren't "heavy" tanks is kinda self-contradicting...
>2011
>still debating about Ratte
Oh Come on now! Seriously! Aren't we done with this yet?
>my face when some people still don't know about the Ratte project being cancelled by Albert Speer in 1943 and that it was NEVER gonna happen to be built ever.
>my face when some people still believe this thing would have ever existed when in fact it wouldn't.
@sempizdetz
well, yeah 80mm armor ain't gonna get penetrated by small calibre automatic cannons... it doesn't show a tank's effectiveness by comapring it against a Panzer I, II or III, almost all Allied tanks were better than the early Panzer I-III. Even frensh and polish tanks...
Nothing to be amazed about that.
HURF DURF HEAVY TANK BETTER THAN LIGHT TANK... please
Real nazis don't even care fot such things as "cool ww2 tanks" or military vehicles in general, because that would make them "neardy", yes right, nerdy. All people today who are somewhat interested into some tuff are now called "nerds/freaks or fanboys," for being "too much obsessed" with something. (welcome to the modern world of prejudice) And we all know nazis cannot be nerds, they're too stupid to fit this role.
Anyway, being a nazi nowadays only means two things, 1) you are against muslims/black people/all other immigrants from the middle east, and 2) you want them to Gtfo of your country/continent i.e. Europe. it's all about racism today. (implying it never was)
No, the Panther was just as **** as the King Tiger. In fact, even worse. 40mm armor ain't gonna stop AP rounds. Even a LIGHT russian tank (t-60) once killed two panthers in a close ambush. How embarassing is that? This is like a Panzer III would kill a IS-2.. which however never happened because the Russians knew at least how to make good heavy tanks.
Hey, how can I change/fix/edit the in-game unit data of Red Alerd 3?
I would like the change the GUN RANGE, LIFE POINTS and ATTACK DAMAGE of each unit. Can anyone please please tell me how to do it? Would be amazing.
