Well, it "would" of course be easier for the player, if special classes wear the same armor, as you intended. I can live with either way and change the loadouts and/or textures myself later on. ;-)

Historically, you should have some variations for the Legionary loadout (I already like, that you also have Hamata for the Leg, not only the segmentata)
Maybe some dark reds, light reds, and some grey too? Some bronze helmets mixed in? Some different shield crests? :-) But in the end, I would also not mind a standard/movie like version.

Hmmm, putting 100+ Hardpoints on a Shipmodel? I modded SWEaW and FoC myself and it is not practical to have this amount on the models. Sure, maybe it may sound cool but you cannot pinpoint them in the fight (too small to get the right one) and then, it is again not realistic at all, cause rebels would go for the shields and then take out the rest.
I am all for re-sizing the Units to fit as close to each other as they should be (Star Destroyer size compared to fighters, ground troops to AT-ATs) but then again, if you fit it 1:1, you wont have fun either, cause you will start to have problems fitting a SSD in the Spacemaps properly.
Take your time, load up some mods like Awakening of the Rebellion 2.6 and look how they done it, change some values in the .xml files, add some hardpoints and see how it fares. I can promise you, that this will give you a better understanding of how to do it "properly" and what you should avoid doing.

Hi there and first of, thank you for this great mod! Haven't played SS2 in a looong time and even tried to fiddle with the editor to rebuild the von Braun to pre Shodan state back there (only came as far as MedSci and gave up)
Now, I know that you have the Tear Effect, which gives alternate routes and outcomes in different periods of times. Is it also possible to go to a earlier state of the ship and walk about solving the mystery before it happens, or are there only small parts of the past playable? Also, if I change the past, can I walk around a unharmed or nearly pristine ship in the present, cause of my actions in the past, or am I only able to watch a end cinematic? Cheers!
Hi, I PMed him before about that matter and even thought you and me are able to speak german, I write in english, so that the rest here knows what is going on.
He told me that he will continue his work and, at some point in the future, re-upload it here on ModDB. He is "not" mad at the creator of this copy of the mod and he also stated above, that he was cool with the guy here to use his old 1.1 models to continue, whatever he could get of the ground. But he is kind of mad at the attitude he regularly got, even as he had his mod up here. He always was told what to do and what not, that his models where to high-poly/ripped/etc. Well I for one am glad he is still willing to do anything public at all...

Hi, I "really" absolutely love your work till now! But, there is always a but... ^^ it would also be grandtastic, if you could fix the lightning bug in the Noveria hotlabs levels (where everything gets surrounded by black blocks). Something seams to be off with AMD CPUs and the only solution right now is to start up the console and disable lightning (viewmode unlit) in that areas, which looks awful. For reference( Youtube.com )
I know this is not caused by you or your modification, but it is a big bummer for me and it would be cool if you could find a solution maybe.

So, just checked. LAA is (and was) applied, the folder is ~20 GB but still the error occurs randomly (several locations, just some minutes or seconds into the game). I also tried to replace the .exe with another one (NOCD Version) and could play without any problems for hours, but I could not use my DLCs that way, since it does not recognize them...
Well, now that you mention it, it could be that I did not reapply the Large Adress Awareness patch for the new installation. I will check this out and report back.
I got excatly the same problem (see linked screenshot)
With TexMod and my personal settings, the game run for hours without any problem. Now I get this general protection faults.
My Operating Sys is Win 7 Home Premium 64Bit SP1 and as I said, it ran without the mod like a charm. The Mod folder as well as the tweaks where done as instructed and I also did reinstall the game to an clean nmodded status.

I also got some racial Trait ideas:
The Systems Alliance - Jack of all Trades, maybe Bonus for Research. Cannot align with Cerberus.
Asari Republic - Diplomats. Can "consort" most Races. Biotic Commandos.
Batarian Hegemony - Isolationists. Cannot align with any other Race.
Geth Consensus - High reproduction rate. Maybe Sovereign as Hero.
Quarians - Fleet Bonus but Weak Planetary Defenses. Cannot align with the Geth.
Salarian Union - Great Research Bonus. Tactical Commandos.
Turian Hierarchy - Strong Military Bonus.
Cerberus - Vast Resources at Start?! Should not be able to align with other "major" Council Races. Maybe also some special Weapons like Virus Bombs or such.
Elcor - Weak Diplomats due to the fact that they cannot lie without telling.
Volus - Traders. Economical Bonus.
Hanar/Drell - Well, duh! Cannot think of any ^^ Maybe Spys
The Collectors - Bonus for all planetary assaults. Weak research and development, due to the fact that their race is not evolving anymore. Higher reproduction rate?
The Mercerenies - ? Also not sure about
