Ach was...da schau her! Na dann noch viel Erfolg! Warte schon sehr darauf, endlich mal wieder EF anzupacken :-D
And for all the other folks, just some random German gibberish!
This is huge!
Cheers for that!
That would be cool!
I once modded all the files myself and even got the working joes to not have red eyes unless you mess with them (hit them or shoot them) then they go berserk and attack you. But I also had to deal with the crashes and only could play certain parts of the Station.
If you manage to get the crashes out, I will switch to your mods instead...so good luck! ^^
Really looking forward to this mod!
This looks really detailed and very impressive! Saubere Arbeit! Toll!
Awesome! Looking forward to this! :D
I would love to just have the ship models replaced, or added as an additional selection for human race players. I find them very fitting for any human empire kind. So....maybe you would consider a separate release? :-)
Well, I do belive (and hope) there are way more players that get this, but do not post here about it and just wait till your mod is ready for them to play. I for myself am really looking forward to play your mod sometime in the future. Cheers for making it!
I must applaud you for that. Most Modders forget about this and make the factions equal and therefor very bland to play. The Empire is the big powerplayer, but they have quantity over quality. Also, the rebel players/ai should be more centered around fast strike and guerrilla tactics...most hero units should be invisible on the galactic map. Will you also alter some planetary maps or add any planets you think are missing when you are done with the space part?
fancy pantsy! Nice ^^
Perfect! I loved how Rebels finally picked up some of the great designs from the EU, like the Quasar and the Interdictor and seeing them comming to EaW, and looking as good as this, just great!
I love the cold, functional design of the Alliance. Nice work, very fitting. Maybe only thing I would miss are some toned windows into the empty frames, to shield the interior from the weather?! Or else they always need to wear suits in harsh environments.
Great Trailer, looking forward to the new release! :-)
Sounds most impressive! Looking forward to it and, thank you for your hard work on this mod! :-D
And to you too! :-)
Love it :-)
Akathir! Awesome work! :-) I love those scenes!
Lovely! Can't wait to conquer and burn this "barbaric" tribes. For Rome!
Well, it "would" of course be easier for the player, if special classes wear the same armor, as you intended. I can live with either way and change the loadouts and/or textures myself later on. ;-)
As long as the mod comes out, with your grand scenes, I am a happy fragger!
Super! Sieht echt spitze aus bisher! Auf den fertige Mod bin ich wirklich sehr gespannt!
And for all the english guys: use a translator :-P
Just saw the trailer, great work. Love it :-)
Historically, you should have some variations for the Legionary loadout (I already like, that you also have Hamata for the Leg, not only the segmentata)
Maybe some dark reds, light reds, and some grey too? Some bronze helmets mixed in? Some different shield crests? :-) But in the end, I would also not mind a standard/movie like version.
Good luck with the mod and keep it up!
Hmmm, putting 100+ Hardpoints on a Shipmodel? I modded SWEaW and FoC myself and it is not practical to have this amount on the models. Sure, maybe it may sound cool but you cannot pinpoint them in the fight (too small to get the right one) and then, it is again not realistic at all, cause rebels would go for the shields and then take out the rest.
I am all for re-sizing the Units to fit as close to each other as they should be (Star Destroyer size compared to fighters, ground troops to AT-ATs) but then again, if you fit it 1:1, you wont have fun either, cause you will start to have problems fitting a SSD in the Spacemaps properly.
Take your time, load up some mods like Awakening of the Rebellion 2.6 and look how they done it, change some values in the .xml files, add some hardpoints and see how it fares. I can promise you, that this will give you a better understanding of how to do it "properly" and what you should avoid doing.
This is truly sad...was really looking forward to play this modification.
Ah, great, thank you for this great explanation! Maybe I will get back into mini modding and try to replace the remaining parts myself, we will see. :-)
I also know the other mod you mentioned "The Tour the Von Braun" too bad he never released any work done so far.
Hi there and first of, thank you for this great mod! Haven't played SS2 in a looong time and even tried to fiddle with the editor to rebuild the von Braun to pre Shodan state back there (only came as far as MedSci and gave up)
Now, I know that you have the Tear Effect, which gives alternate routes and outcomes in different periods of times. Is it also possible to go to a earlier state of the ship and walk about solving the mystery before it happens, or are there only small parts of the past playable? Also, if I change the past, can I walk around a unharmed or nearly pristine ship in the present, cause of my actions in the past, or am I only able to watch a end cinematic? Cheers!
Hi, I PMed him before about that matter and even thought you and me are able to speak german, I write in english, so that the rest here knows what is going on.
He told me that he will continue his work and, at some point in the future, re-upload it here on ModDB. He is "not" mad at the creator of this copy of the mod and he also stated above, that he was cool with the guy here to use his old 1.1 models to continue, whatever he could get of the ground. But he is kind of mad at the attitude he regularly got, even as he had his mod up here. He always was told what to do and what not, that his models where to high-poly/ripped/etc. Well I for one am glad he is still willing to do anything public at all...
Translation (short Version for all):
Well obviously Thomas has not left the scene and is still very eager to get his mod(s) done. He already updated his modding sites and will also continue the Mass Effect Mod. Sadly he can only rely on Google Translate for communication here, which is still a bad translator when it comes to german-english grammar and wording btw. I cannot speak on behalf of Thomas but I would say that "BottledMilkGames" closes this copy down. BottledMilkGames may have had good intentions in keeping the mod from getting lost in the limbo of the net, but it is without the authors consent and thereby, as far as I know the rules here, not permitted to stay.
