True. It's basically inherited from the original game, but could be avoided with better mission design. Some missions are quite hard for today's standards, I have to admit it, but I won't be updating them anymore...
If you need help with the scripts, let me know. I'm somehow confident you won't have any problems with them, but just in case. There may be a bug or two in there, but I can't force myself to fix it. The mod looks good the way it is, I guess.
Well, yes. It was released soon after the "Beth, the old hag" mod, but then again, it's not really anything new, since this mod is more than 3 years old.
I just had to move it to ModDB recently, because my ISP was polite enough to remove my homepage from their server without notifing me (luckily, I made a backup of all stuff there).

Which should be pretty near the implementation then, knowing that the features like the inventory of the companions and their basic interactions with the environment are already in and working... I'm quite confident the devs won't miss the opportunity to implement interesting companions which shall enhance the game experience.

Actually, I'd like to see the game finally work. I had some pretty nasty bugs when I tried to play it with the latest patch a month or two ago... I know it's the ill-fated part of the (current) trilogy, but for a Stalker like myself, it'd be a shame to pass any of the STALKER games, not even this one, which is considered somewhat worse than the others from the same series. The "Complete 2009" addition for "SoC" was truly awesome. I hope I'll be able to play and finish "Clear Sky" in the same fashion once (probably soon). Wish you luck in your efforts.
This game is also known as Van Buren, it was developed by the team who created Fallout and Fallout 2, i.e. Black Isle Studios. It has been never finished and all that ever leaked outside the development facilities was a tech demo which can show you how the game should looks like in general. You can find the tech demo on the net and download it.
Now, I seriously ask myself why this has a profile on ModDB. It is a tech demo, there is no code source, no tools to support modding, nothing, nada, zero. If there was the slightest chance to do anything with Van Buren, trust me - I would do it a long time ago. Like this, it has been only a bitter reminder of what may have had happened with the Fallout 3 as it was originally meant to be (and not turning it into an Oblivion mod).
All I can presume is that someone, according to the profile information pretty uninformed, had a dream where Van Buren was resurrected. I have no intention to insult anyone, but when I say uninformed, then I mean it (there is "Single & Multiplayer" in the profile, while Van Buren was strictly a single player game; referring to the tech demo and label it as a game; call for modding and extensions when there are no means to do so etc.)

Try visiting fonline2238.net and look for a solution there. I think you should delete all cache files from your "client/data" directory and then try logging in (not registering, but logging in first, with the default account). After your client downloads the latest cache, you will be able to register and play.
Yes. You just need 2 files from the Fallout CD, 'Master.dat' and 'Critter.dat' and you're ready to jump in.
Exactly. Many of the new features require "the wipe" process in order to work. This is common for the game since the start of the development, only this time there are no pauses between testing sessions (wipes), which were anything between several months and a year.

"Execute start script fail" means that your client script couldn't be executed properly. This might occur even if you connect to the server properly. If you can't connect to the server, check out the server status or try updating client to the right version (scroll down a few posts to see links for more help).
Well, it'd be quite harsh to die "forever" and start a new game over and over again each time someone or something tries to end your existence... Instead of dying, you will wake up heavily wounded in a tent located somewhere in the wasteland. How did you end up there? You surely don't remember, since heavily wounded and traumatized.
