The parallax mapping technique that you guys are using is impressive, it looks like real geometry even at fairly extreme angles.
There's a nasty UV seam on the head/bust's face but other than that it's very nice. I was also getting like 250 FPS which is great for a tech demo.

About the turning/rotation speed, I agree that it's not realistic to be able to turn around so fast, but if you think about it, the only way to make it more realistic would be to lower the mouse sensitivity to emulate the effect, and that is never good ;)

Is pretty unrealistic actually, but I try to put hands in front of the camera as much as I can because otherwise you are just a floating camera, I guess it's one of those gameplay vs. realism things.
