One of the best upcoming mods I've seen in a while.
I LOVE the Silent HIll-ish look of the game and the concept of having no weapons.
You even have a clock puzzle, sweet.

The parallax mapping technique that you guys are using is impressive, it looks like real geometry even at fairly extreme angles.
There's a nasty UV seam on the head/bust's face but other than that it's very nice. I was also getting like 250 FPS which is great for a tech demo.
Congrats to the winner, and nice to see several of my favorite games of 2010 in the list!

Excellent just got this, I wanted to buy Machinarium for a while now.
One thing tough, you guys really need to release an auto-patcher for the alpha.
I was finally able to join a game on build 157 for the first time since the alpha was released. Despite the lag it was very enjoyable, graphics are great and performance is slowly improving.
Solid game even in this state, love how the teamwork is vital to victory, keep it up guys!
The interface looks great, Im looking forward to some in-game footage (I know that kind of stuff takes time).

Speaking of HUD improvements, can you disable the vignette effect around the screen? I find it annoying.
I like the idea, but I think that it's terrible that anyone can simply browse any score you ever gave a game. What's next? People will be able to see who you gave negative comment scores too? This thing needs some privacy settings.
Love the game so far, specially when you turn off the flight assists. Solid combat too, keep it up!
What are the changes to the AI? Is it still faster than you at top speed?

I downloaded this alpha to "try it out" and ended up playing for over an hour, it's amazing how fun it is to simply walk around and jump (please keep the momentum based movement, event if it probably needs to be turned down a notch).
I feel that this game could really work with some RPG elements, being able to gain exp and unlock new moves to come back and defeat a powerfull enemy should work really well.
Regardless of what you do, I think it's headed on the right direction, Im impressed to see how far it's come since the last time I tried an alpha.
To be fair, "Extint Games" seems like an accurate team name for a project with no description other than "I Need Pople To Develop The Game For Me".

Hey there, from what I've seen in the videos it looks like all male characters have this problem, the rest of the body looks good, it's just the arms that have this problem. The female looks nice though.
Here's a simple reference to give you an idea of what they should look like:
Take note that the arms go all the way down the crotch and the hands begin even lower than that.
And dont feel discouraged, proportions are a bitch, it's the thing I've had the most problems with too. But getting it right goes a long way to make your models look better.
This is looking really good. Love the female character's moves. Only thing I find a bit odd is the length of the male character's arms, they seem a bit short.

Im not sure what to make of this. A few weeks ago you guys made this huge announcement about the allegations of you guys running with the money and not paying your staff in what's probably one of the biggest "Streisand effect" scenarios I've seen in the gaming biz.
It was weird and I believe it makes indies look bad, but you guys said you would be posting more info about to clear things out, which I think was a good idea and would have helped clear things out.
Then out of nowhere Orion's moddb profile is erased, which was a very strange damage control tactic but whatever, let's roll with it.
Now after a big silence you appear out of nowhere, giving no explanations and posting a silly April's fool joke.
I feel like Im being taken as an idiot here. Am I supposed to pretend all that crap never happened? Im confused here.
Please don't take me wrong, I do have a sense of humor and I have no reasons to believe that the accusations are in fact real, but don't you think we deserve some kind of explanation?
I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for all your work on this. I've been playing it with v1.4 and despite the fact that driving physics still kinda sucks (not much you can do about that, of course) Im really enjoying it.
Multiple class races are fun and should have been on the vanilla game, also having more options when it comes to selecting a vehicle for a race makes it much more fun.
Now, if you could provide an option to disable the insane bloom effect you would be my hero :D
Btw, there's no changelog? What does this mod exactly do? Does it modify the multiplayer or the single campaign?
Fuel is modifiable? I never actually liked the game, but knowing that such a great concept still has a hope of being improved is definitely nice.

In Penumbra Black Plague you could do stuff like throwing stuff at the enenies and they would react, but they were still basically inmortal so the safe bet was to run.
In Amnesia as far as I understand it you are playing as a phychotic charater that loses his mind when he sees disturbing things, so there's your reason to run away.
Anyway, Im a huge Frictional fan, I pre-ordered this the first day it was available and I cant wait for it!
Each character has a name and a class, but the are not interchangeable.
Carlos Santiago is also know as the Hunter, the Seeker is called Rosa and so on. You can refer to them by either their name or their class.
They idea is for everyone to have their own identity instead of being your typical faceless grunt.
Very, very clever idea guys. I both love and hate you for not coming up with it before :P
Personally, I think anything between 10 and 15k would be ok. Looking forward to see an in-game model :)
