Hey guys, I'm Australian. Love games and music. I skate and play guitar. A great guy, also enjoy partying!. I'm also up to test your games/mods! Just hit me up with a message asking what game it is and you will most likely get a YES :D But if its a mod there might be a 50/50% chance of a yes or a no depending if I actually have the game. Either send the message to my Moddb account or to my email address.

I applied for the Q/A position and was wondering approx how long it takes roughly to get a reply? As at the current moment I might be stuck offline here and there due to unforeseen assignment change dates.

Thank you,

Is it possible to get the Subvert source code to see what people can do with it? I'd enjoy to play around with it as a way of learning to code (currently doing an advanced diploma)

Also good luck with future development!

I'd so go with a closed alpha test and have the beta closed for the first half of it then release that to the public (But I'd recommend keeping it closed till you get to the full release)

Playing as a female can help you feel a lot different in a game then playing as a male.
When you're playing as a female you feel a lot more defenseless then when you play as a male, increasing the psychological horror experience for both males and females (If you play as a male you feel strong and feel as if nothing can defeat you)
Also the designers of F.E.A.R used Alma as one of the protagonist is a little girl that gives you the feeling that you can't do anything to harm her (Once you actually try too attack her.) before that you think she is an innocent girl that just looks creepy.

Sweet! Keep up the work though and use both positive and negative critizism too your advantage. (With negative is more on the lines of somebody stating cons, not 'Oh dude your game sux fix it will ya.')

Also, I'm up to personal send you emails on play testing it in the future? (Since soon I will have a cert 3 in game design, I'm always up too help people out!)

In my opinion you should have created a polished prototype first and also giving the player a better idea on whats going on. :)

Also with the guns, when you unequip the weapon the box disappears. I'll also recommend lowering how loud the music is as it slightly confuse's you what's going on.

There using unity.
Unity can get up to Shader Model 5.0 :)

But I believe they will most likely be using 3.0, although I believe the default in Unity is 2.0.

Check the temperature of your graphics card when you play it... Sometimes the GTX 580 heats up A LOT and so works harder instead.

The only downside as to doing it as a LAN server is other players will get a high latency.
An easy solution is to simply do the usual, do a VS (Virtual Server) using hamachi or something along those lines.
