Just for what it's worth, I personally think the "Before" image has a better face/eyes and forehead gem than the after, although both versions do look good.
The eyes on the forehead version do look good themselves, but I personally think they don't fit the rest of the design.

Not a big deal at all, just giving a little feedback/constructive criticism.

And hey, if that's what stands out most, clearly you're doing a good job with everything else. :)

No worries at all, I am sure you're very busy, good luck with the launch.

This version of the demo is certainly significantly improved, one thing that has not changed much is some of the spelling/grammatical/language errors, I'm sure that's likely not a high priority for you at the moment like content and bugs would be, but I was wondering if you have that covered, or if you will need any help with it? :)

So, slightly random, have been having fun in the new demo, (have not encountered any bugs so far) but I had two questions, one, is the giant purple turtle monster actually accessible in the demo, and two, is there any way to edit the .sav file to change my name, I realised I spelt it wrong, and it's bugging me, no big deal though, I tried but it wouldn't load after I edited the .save file.

Brilliant progress, excited for the full release. :)

I should mention, it looks like a more interesting version of convoy, as while convoy is clearly a FTL one, as while it is not bad, it doesn't live up to FTL and it's a somewhat underwhelming clone, it just feels a little empty.

I'm pretty interested to see where this game goes, and I wish you the best of luck.

Perhaps have two sets of points?
One that's all the current ones (minus monster control)
And one that lets you increase usable monsters, or reserve (maybe having them separate and needing to chose might help) or "maximum large monsters" or something along those lines, some "more powerful" upgrades, so that monster control isn't just the only logical choice, but it has to be separate from the regular stats or or it's just even less reason to ever pick them.

Ahh, that's really quite interesting.
Personally I still think (based on what we, the public currently knows) Something like Soullings Inc. or Souls Inc. would fit more nicely, as a sort of blend between the primitive/medieval setting and the corporate future (is that what the portals are for? Mining alternate realities for resources?) but I'll be open minded. :)

That's awesome, I LOVED black and white, but many people say they think the creatures and interactions with them were the best part, especially teaching your creature to behave how you want, from eating villagers to throwing poo at your enemies, from what I have seen you game doesn't have an aspect like this, I hope you can fill that void, although I do understand it's a separate unrelated game.

Also, not really a bug, but an issue, when moving to a monster like this I.imgur.com
You can attack at an angle, but when in range, it is more or less impossible.

A potential fix for this would be to have a movement stage and then a skill/ability stage, with certain abilities like stomp possibly greyed out in the second stage after moving.

Is it intended that stop only hits enemies up, down, left and right from the user, not diagonally? Is that not considered "around" them?

I'm currently experiencing a bug, in the forest area the caves end at, the one with the stone circle that you battle in later.

When I click an enemy, I sort of rub up against it, it moves it, like pushing a physics object, after about 3 seconds it disappears, the enemies were working normally and were battle-able when I entered, I had maybe 2-3 battles, then opened a chest and walked around the edge of the map (on the bottom and right sides) before noticing the issue.

Some enemies around the map are also walking on the spot.

Just walked out of the potion shop, saw the very edge of the map on the left of the screen temporarily, and it moved away, now all I see is endless blue (and the UI), no character or anything, clicking does not appear to make walking sounds.

Edit: loaded back to just before this, same thing happens no matter what, if I enter the potion shop, I cannot leave.

Tiny little thing, the scroll you pick up on the tutorial island, has a scroll bar, that adds about 1 millimeter of length, I know a scrollbar for texts like this will be useful in the future, but perhaps shortening the text just a little would make it look neater.

One bit of feedback I have from both builds, that I forgot to mention, Monster Control, feels too powerful to be one of the stats you choose from when leveling up, I don't know if that's just me, but perhaps it should simply be flat out built into your level? Perhaps it just seems that way early game/in this demo.

Now that saving is implemented, I will do my best to find and reproduce some of the crashing issues I had with the last build. :)

Another point I wanted to make that I forgot, is that the city map, feels a bit... too big? The streets are very wide and empty, will these be filled with random NPCs or something later? It takes just a little too long to traverse the city to feel natural, personally, if it was going to be this size, I would hope the healing building would be closer to where you enter the map.

I've found the demo to be really interesting so far, and quite promising, It does in fact need some proof reading as you said yourself, but that's not a major issue, that's mostly "polish".

Biggest complaints as of now are:

Crashing/freezing bugs, I spent a few hours playing and it froze when exiting a battle in the beach area, the game went grey and I had my cursor, but it never loaded past that point, because of this I have not yet completed the demo.
Another time, I entered the building where you heal yourself in the magic circle, and I mid conversation, my character seemed to fall through the floor or something, and the world went black, fortunately when the conversation came around to it I said yes to healing me and that teleports you to the circle, but I think if I had said no I would have been stuck.

When exploring, the order I went in the first two times playing, was Beach > Cave > Forest-y area.
It was not until my third attempt at playing the demo that I found the cliff-y area with the wooden bridges etc, it's the second area on the map, but because that appeared after I left the cave, I assumed it was the cave.

I may be forgetting something, but I am not sure.

I greatly implore you to work on the save and load feature for any future demo versions, as it would massively help with finding bugs and issues to report to you so that you can work on improving the game as much as possible, as much as it deserves.
