This is actually running on an iPad, so the graphics of course have to be brought down significantly from a PC game.

The other images shown in our gallery are concept artworks, this is the first ever in-game shot we've shown. This is running on the Unity engine on an iPad.

While bunches of money is nice, our studio would only see a small percentage of revenues (most of it goes to a publisher and investors). All we need is enough to break even and keep building games!

Your absolutely right, Steam and Desura (also things like XBLA) offer more great opportunities for small developers. When I said mobile was our only move, I was referring to our group specifically. We have a very limited development budget now, and developing mobile first allows us to finish a game more quickly. We just had to take a long, honest look at our progress thus far, and this seemed like the best choice for right now.

Unfortunately these days, there's not many other routes for a small design house like ours to take in order to survive. The big companies don't exactly welcome competition from small guys like us, so we all get pushed around a fair bit.

Not a complaint, that's just how the business world works. As soon as we can get back to PC developing, we will.

Hey guys I'll try to answer your questions in a bit of detail here.

We were using a 3rd party exporter to take our models from 3ds max into the SC2 game engine. While it sortof worked, it was not an officially supported tool from Blizzard. Getting models into the game was a very tricky process, and one that only worked some of the time. We actually have a lot more content that we simply were not able to get in-game. That's why you'll notice in every screenshot, it's the same textures, units, and environments over and over. Things like custom animations and particle effects were all but impossible to implement as well.

Hey thanks guys!

And to answer your question: there will be two variants of each level. Version 01 is for 1-player SP, offline mode. Version 02 will be the modified co-op level. This will be a modified layout which will be designed to fit 2, 3, or 4 players better.

For example, if you are only playing 2-player co-op. Once the map loads the game will detect only 2 human players and the AI will adjust accordingly (easier). If you went in with 4 players, the AI will adjust itself to be significantly more challenging, so it's still a fair battle for a 4 vs 1.

We're pretty happy with how it's looking. As omecid pointed out, that's our art-style. We'll be doing a texture refinement pass in the coming months, but our style isn't going to change.

If you'd like to try out brighter RTS games I'd recommend Red Alert 3 and Starcraft II.

Airstrikes are called in from off-map as special powers. There's a bunch of different varieties - from carpet bombing runs, jet airstrikes, paratroopers, artillery strikes, and lots more.

We don't know a whole lot about pricing yet but I would put this in the same price range as any other indie game, definitely not $60!

Hey couple answers to questions,

Yes, this takes place on planet earth. We're still early-ish in development so most of our environments aren't finished (city/urban areas, for example). In terms of nationalities, that's kindof tough for me to explain without ruining part of the story - but we are really close to launching the game description. We'll include a little backstory on both factions and a few more details here and there.

Trailer is being edited so we hope to have that done really soon. We sincerely appreciate the support!

These guys are an elite faction within the UDC. UDC is one of our main, playable factions in the game. This specific group plays a big role in the SP campaign. More details will be revealed really soon. Our stuff is almost ready to go, finally.

Hey guys, just wanted to drop a line in here. So we've had a bit of bad luck in that my PC was hit by a nasty virus. Long story short, I need to order a new one. Should arrive in about a months time.

We had a big announcement planned for NEXT weekend (Saturday the 28th) including a trailer, proper screenshots, a promotional website and all that good stuff. This is now going to be delayed unfortunately, which really sucks. We've been working on this for such a long time so we were really looking forward to properly announcing this thing.

With that being said, overall progress WILL continue (art, story, programming, animations) but my wok (level designing) comes to an abrupt halt until I am back up and running. So we sincerely apologize about this delay, but hang in there with us for a couple more weeks and we'll have something hopefully worthwhile to show ya!

Mech's are well underway. Screenshots and trailer featuring them are coming in a few weeks. We'd rather show completed work, instead of unfinished stuff so you can see exactly how it's all turning out ingame.

Ah I know we've been a bit too silent lately. We have been really hard at work, we're finalizing our story, factions, and promotional stuff. Once that's all set (soon we hope) we'll do a big promotional push with a small promo website, trailer, proper screenshots, backstory, and so forth!

I actually agree, it is a bit small. The scaling of everything is really subject to change, we'll be tweaking it a lot throughout the course of development. I've made it a bit larger and it looks better I think. You'll see it in the next round of screenshots.
