I can even say that my main incentive to buy a Ps3 at first was MGS4.
I looked for a 60GB Ps3 which is compatible with all my Playstation and Playstation 2 games, I can practically play all Metal Gears with just one platform :)
- Metal Gear Solid 1, MGS1 Special Missions (MGS1 expantion) - PS1
- MGS2, MGS2 Substance (expantion), MGS3 and MGS3 Subsistence (which in turn gives us the ability to play the great Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 from the good'ol 80's) - Ps2
- MPO (Metal Gear Portable Ops) and MPO+ (expantion) - Playstation Portable (PSP)
And the awesome MGS4 and MGO (Metal Gear Online) for the Ps3.
Quite a collection ^_^ (not to mention the other spin-off MG games which i got as well lol).
I'm one of those old school Metal Gear players (been playing Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 since the middle 90's on old platforms such as NES. PS: Sorry for the Huge post XD
Yeah. I remember having Metal Gear on my Nintendo.) i gotta save money to buy ps3 and MGS4. This is the only game i buy PS3 for. (also later i'm planning on buying Wii to play MG Twin Snakes). My ps2 also was for MG3 (i got PC version of MG2S) and PSP for Portable ops and Ac!ds. Kodjima made the game of all time. SPOILER i'm intendin on putting some MG chars into my mod but tsssssssssssssss... its a secret for now
