I Will Be Away from Modeling until the NEW Year (2017) - WOW 2017 .. really time flies in the Warp.

I am dealing with some Real Life stuff and will not be doing any Modeling until then.

I have posted some Updated Images for CW40K 2.0 that is being worked on.

I Hope All of you are Having a Great Time with CW40K, WH40K II & WH40K III.

I Know there are bugs, This is how it goes with Mods and The ArmA Games.

Well It's Time for Me to go Back into the Warp and Kick more Chaos BUTTS!

Hi All , I have not posted much about the OFPWH40K, CW40K and even the WH40K II For A2, As I have been bouncing from one to the next to the Next and back.

There has been some talk about how the mod is going, and where it's going.

I Hope to have more info on this in the coming days.

Many things Have Changed with Models, Scripts, configs, "MAPS" etc....
I will "TRY" to keep you all up dated as much as I can.

Hello to all the People of the Imperium Of Man.

Announcement:

In the Coming Months, Our Team will be going to a NEW game engine, One that will give us some breathing room. in that we will have Larger Maps, More units on the map, better Air/Land and sea units.
Currently this new Mod is in Alpha stage.. much testing is needed, even though we have veterans who know the ins and outs of OFP .. The New Engine is similar but yet Different.

I am Talking about ArmA2

We have been asked many times for many years about moving to A2, but to tell you the truth, we had our thoughts of just staying with OFP, as ArmA and ArmA2 had many things that we did not like .. As the Yrs went On ArmA2 has grown to be a MORE Stable game. manythings FIXED and Leaps and Bounds up and over OFP in ways of Maps and AI and vehicles just to name a few. One major thing that A2 gives that OFP is Lacking .. "Multi-turrets"! AS we all know Warhammer 40,000 has things like Landraiders and Thunderhawks to Banblades that have Multi-turrets , this was a "HACK and SLASH" job in OFP to make work and then it really does not... With some ALPHA testing we have seen the Multi-turret work Nicely...

Q - "WILL A2Wh40K have DoW Models ported to A2??"
A - "NO" as much of a time saver it was to have the DoW models they are not meant to be in a 6,000 to 10,000 poly model game.

Q - "Will A2Wh40K port any other Models of 40k to A2 such as DoW2 and or Space Marine?"
A - "NO", as THQ was nice enough to let us use their OLD DoW models, DoW2 are better Models but still not A2 models, and even though Space marines Models Are up there with A2 stuff .. It is Just best that we make our Own.. (images to follow),Brand NEW Scratch built models wil lbe used, Every thing from IG units to weapons to tanks to air to Space Marines... Another thing A2 has shown is that units can have Body Armour ( built proof Vest/dragon skin ) etc .. With the Higher end Scripting with Bullets this is looking better every day.

Q - "What units will A2Wh40K see?"
A - "We have plans for All Warhammer 40,000 typ units that A2 will let us Function in. Case in Point the basic Man unit in OFP is the same as in A2 - 1.8 meters tall, so default animations can be used." With Space marines they stand 7 feet (2.1336 meters) give or take an inch ... with such things a Custom animation will need to be made. In OFP we had some VERY talented Staff who was able to make this work. In A2 it is Still possible to do , but VERY Time consuming.. this is an on going phase. so Currently we are working on Imperial Guard units as they are standard A2 scale. Another thing that OFP was limited in .. SCALE of Buildings and Vehicles.. A2 will Help us get away from this. The Current work is having Vehicles to fluff as we can get.. so if a vehicle is 6 meters long and 5 meters wide and 4 meters tall in fluff .. that's what it will be in game. If a Weapon is a .75 cal HE round then we will try to have that .75 Cal HE round do as much FLUFF damage as A2 will let us.

Q - "what has A2Wh40K for units now?"
A - "The A2WH40K is still much in the way of ALPHA Stage. We do have some Alpha Models of Imperial Cadian Guard units with some weapons, (lasguns, long las, laspistol, hellgun just to name a few). We also have some Chaos of Korn Blood Pack Units. For the Most part it is to see how things look , feel and play in A2. Currently We have works of Vehicles , from Chimera's, Rhinos, Landraiders to Thunderhawks & Valkyries. Not to get into Much detail of this, but Our Goal is to have Models in game that are just not EYE Candy, such as Working door's/ramps for the vehicles and proper flying Dynamics for things like Speeders and thunderhawks and Valkyries.

Keep an Eye out for this in the coming Months as things get rolling As more reports will be posted.

OFPWH40K mod for OFP 1.96

Good day people of the Imperium of Man.

Some of you may Know the Mod already, and some of you may not.

To the ones who do know of the mod and play it ... we thank you for your support.

To the ones who do not know of the Mod , here is the LOW Down.

The OFPWH40K mod is a Warhammer 40k units on a FPS PC game of Operation Flashpoint.
We , The Team of OFPWH40K wanted to play WH40K in a first person shooter ever since we first saw the DOW game from Relic.
Back in 2003-2004 some people made some Space marines and some Tau , and some Imp. Guard unit, with land and sir units.

There seem to be no action to this until 2008 when the KNOW how and more people asking for this mod to come out.

With some permissions and some begging , we were able to get the MOD up and running as you see it today .
We do Not claim to Fame of the Units, or the NAME from GW/THQ/Relic in any way .
This is just a MOD to play in the WORLD of 40k as a first person shooter.

The Game engine that we use does have its limits .
One of the limits is that Vehicles Can not have Multi-turrets , so Lemanrus and Bainblades and other ORKY vehicles may have 3 or 6 gun mounts , but for the most part, all weapons fire from the main weapon. ( this will not change unless the game engine is redone , and that's not happening any time soon )

The mod you will find units of the Space marines, chaos marines, Imp.Guard and chaos guard, Tau, Eldar, Dark Eldar, ORKS, and Necrons.

There many Maps to play on, some new maps and some maps of OFP that were converted over to a wh40k look/feel.
For the Most part, 90% of all maps we have are LARGE ISLAND maps, 100 km square in size.
There are a few maps that are shoe box type ( 1500x1500 meters ) give or take an Inch.

There are some Campaigns for the MOD, along with many SP and MP missions.

The mod is being worked on ever day by the Staff, everything from models of units vehicles to troops to map objects such as trees and buildings.

We also have people who are working on scripts for the game, If any one know OFP they know what I am talking about.

For the ones who don't know , the Scrips that we are working on are script to make units spawn in and out when they are needed , and to set up nice FX stuff for mission makers to make nice missions.
