I really enjoy any kind of war game. RTS or Shooter. I don't like wierd fantasy games though.
I have to admit, Sins is probably better than this, though I don't have it. I wouldn't blame you if you moved from this crappy platform to a better one that is more suited to your vision.
Who the **** promised you anything, you ungrateful *******?! C'mon! It's not like you payed for the mod development for those mods...
LOL well, you are missing the point of that!
I don't care who is the President, as long as whoever it is has no combat capability whatsoever, other than boosting some of the stats of the units with him.
Sorry, but the Cold War is certainly over.
Well, since naval battles will replace the space battles, how will you keep naval battles from haappening at, say, Moscow? A Moscow naval battle would be wierd.
1. Is this with the balance mod?
2. What was the setting for the AI player?
So I see that carrier up at the top. How are you going to keep naval units from battling inland?
Hey, on the Fatboy (original FA version) you can see the two large platforms on top of it. You should see if you can make it upgradeable to put something like AA, artillery, tactical missiles, or something on those two spots. Fatboy looks so empty without something there.
By the way, I'm not sure how difficult or easy this was, but ****ing brilliant, man.
Yeah, planets are just objects on the map. They can just delete them. Maybe they can put in a moon or the sun in the background, though.
Yeah, you can't protect all of them, but this is why you need to pick your battles wisely; don't spread your forces too thin. You can't reasonably have every system well within grasp at all times. What would be the fun?
Nevermind! I fixed it somehow! I scanned the integrity of my SupCom2 with Steam and it had to redownload a file. It never says which one, but whichever one it was the mod works now! This mod rocks, OverRated! Thanks a bunch for your work!
Okay, is the ****ing balance mod required to play this game at all? I do everything, EVERYTHING that you ask, and yet the mod refuses to work. It SAYS it is installed, but it is sorely mistaken. I have given up on the mod manager. It is either worthless, or I am doing something wrong, and I have watched your video, which was nice of you to make. Sorry, but I am just so disappointed. I know that my issues are not your problem, but I really want this mod to work again. After playing the older version, I will NEVER be able to go back to vanilla SupCom2.
They probably don't, since that mod's creator said that they are coded too differently to change. It's not even a big deal.
Oh yeah, the mod shows up. The problem is that there are NONE of the features of the expansion mod. It's really wierd.
I installed the mod. Mod manager says that everything is going well. The game menu says that revamp 1.0 is installed. The game is unchanged. I had this mod until it switched over to the mod manager. What is wrong?
Damnit I just uninstalled HW2
About the helos, maybe you can talk to the people making Brothers of War. They made their planes take off and land supposedly.
Yes, I am using Win7. I'll give these some consideration.
New question, the game crashes not long after it begins loading a map. I got the game installed, BF1942 patched up, and I'm playing Coop on LAN. Anyone know why?
Well, as for more info:
-I installed BF1942
-I tried to patch using the 1.61 Full Patch
-The patch installer could not find a BF1942 installation
-My OS is Windows 7
-BF1942 is in Program Files(x86)
-The game works, but does not patch
When I had Windows XP I had no problems.
Okay, so how do I install a patch for BF1942 if I am using Windows 7? It says that I do not have the game installed, but I think that this is because the game is in Program Files(x86), rather than just regular Program Files. Any help?
Wow. Both of these are just excellent!
7zip kicks winrar's ***.
Troll is a troll^^
Does this mod require Red Tide? Regardless, how many other mods do any of you know of that do?
Sorry, white camo is just plain unimaginable. I can see it in Warhammer, Halo, or some other obnoxious sci-fi, but not in WWII or any realistic situation, for that matter. It's your mod, but if you are going for believability, don't look for it with this.
