I really enjoy any kind of war game. RTS or Shooter. I don't like wierd fantasy games though.

Well, the amount of ammo a weapon carries has little to do with whether it is light or heavy. Slap a bigger mag in this gun and it's still a light machine gun.

Well, since naval battles will replace the space battles, how will you keep naval battles from haappening at, say, Moscow? A Moscow naval battle would be wierd.

I know it may be handled somewhere else already, but here are a few weird things.
-Escort cobra has sidewinders that can be fired at any unit or even just at the ground.
-Most, if not all, AT missiles from helis can be shot at other helis. Although it is basically 100% ineffective, there is a chance!
Also, are there plans for new models for the attack blackhawk and cobras and things like that? The BH has no wings for its armament, and the offensive cobra has a sidewinder on its weapons pylons.
I used to do that all the time though. Now that I have Windows 7 it doesn't work. That kind of sucks alot, because singleplayer has essentially no options in battlefield 2, whereas coop has numerous options. Thanks anyways.

Hey guys. I used to be able to play a coop game alone via LAN on all bf2 mods, but now when I try(I went from xp to 7 recently) I start the match and it says "the match will begin when one more player joins". I have the max players set to 1 and this still happens. Does anyone have a way to fix this? Because of this I cannot capture outposts, but I can still fight, it just doesn't update the scoreboard with anything and the tickets never drop.
Hey come on... MW mod doesn't suck. It is the best mod that has a release as of yet. This mod looks really promising, but remember, it isn't even finished yet...
Yeah, like in the kit menu; the lock symbol could be made in to the little arrows and that could change the weapon that the kit had. That has been the problem with having so many weapons in the past, you have to put multiple primary grade weapons into one kit to fit them all in. That sounds cool if it works or happens.
About the video it helps and the helis are awesome in the game, but really, when I am managing two or three of those choppers, I can't babysit them each around the map; it would be nice if you could leave one to watch an area. In other words, when it isn't moving, it could still shoot targets without destroying itself from shooting the ground.
I guess normal was pretty good. All I care about is that they can shoot their weapons at full range when stopped. A.K.A. they aren't so low that all of their missiles hit a bump on the ground that is in front of them...

Does anyone have trouble running this on Windows 7. I ran it great on xp, but windows 7 isn't going so great. It won't even go to the first loading screen after I click my shortcut; it goes to a black screen and gets an exception. And the mod launcher is completely incompatible with 7. Vanilla game and other mods work great...
And can someone tell me all the files/folders that they see in the Alliance2.3X folder. I forgot what they were and want to make sure they are all there...
For helis, just don't make them fly so low to the ground that they can't shoot anything like in modern warfare mod...
I was wondering, why not add all of the weapons that an army uses, rather than voting on one to fill each role? In this case, add law, at4, javelin, etc... to U.S., and then milan and erix and whatever else the French use for AT to France...
If you only add one to U.S. though, AT4 is cool.

Okay, I know that the Spiral does "spiral" in real life, but have you seen the animation? It starts to spiral to a point that there is about a football field of air inside of its circumfrence...

And the Hellfire really has no up or down, just up. If tanks are close, just blast 'em with rockets. :)
Plus, almost every assault rifle to date has un-removable iron sights. And, the scope looks attached, not permanent, meaning that there would be iron sights somewhere on the weapon.
Looks pretty sweet anyway.
P.S. This comment is for the argument about the iron sights issue near the top.

Okay, so they are programmed to fly low? Anyway, I just play against bots in basically fixed matches, where I will dominate and get to see lots of splosions, so I don't worry about things like radar. I just want my choppers to shoot things without having to worry about a hill being in their way, or without them having to go right in the face of the tanks to shoot them. Thanks for replying.
Is there any possibile way to play this without having opposing fronts? I hate it when you think that it's not worth buying an expansion to a game, and then later you realize, maybe someone would mod the Xpack instead of the original game...
And about the whole "don't post your bugs here" thing, I think that if you happen to be on the site, and you see a bug posted, why not acknowledge it?
To use the AC-130, you have to call in the forward air controller TA for the US and NATO. Those guys can call in the AC-130 as their special attack ability.
Also, why do helicopters fly so low? The only ones that fly high are the auto pilot ones.
And my Mi28 helicopters rarely ever have a skin...
Great mod though. I wish that there were more TA, but that's because I am never satisfied!

I see what you are saying. Think about this, though: obviously, you would not see something that big come out the barrel of a gun, or end of anything on a capital ship for that matter. Even if the ship is big, the gun itself would have to be seen on the ship, even if you are zoomed out all the way, if it was big enough to fire a round/burst/blast that big. The real problem is, though, that all projectiles are considerably oversized in this game (not only your mod, but all mods for this game, practically). Think how small the lasers and such are actually supposed to be compared to the ships. I'm fairly certain that the ship in this picture cannot fire a blast that appears to be one-fourth its own size...
Are those some other megalith that I don't know about? They don't look the same as the ones in SupCom 2.
