Everything looks great so far! Although, is Aku Aku still a work in progress? His textures seem kinda bland compared to everything else. Otherwise, keep up the great work :D
Sounds good, I'll definitely keep that in mind when I get better :)
Awesome news to hear! I definitely wish I could be of some help, though I'm currently just learning modelling and animation myself, and doubt I'd be any good as of yet. But I definitely look forward to seeing the development of this game!
not sure if it's the lighting or angle, but looks to be a bit of clipping in his left eye and the bottom of his bandana just above that eye. Otherwise, this is really well done, looks like a super young Snake, which I like :D
awh man, 2spoopy4me
haha seriously though, this *is* pretty eerie. Still looking forward to this game!
Kick ***! Textures and lighting seems to be really coming together, it looks great. Keep up the awesome work!
This looks great so far, keep up the good work! I assume you plan to work on the lighting a bit more? The brightness seems a bit too blaring, and the dark areas seems pitch black. But again, great work!
Awesome, looks like you got hiding around corners down! Each update I see gets me so excited lol Keep it up!
awesome! You're doing very well with this project so far, I really hope it continues
Awh man, this looks awesome! Even for how early in development it's in, I'm still really excited!
Now, are you making it to where we can switch views on the fly, like as an option in the menus, or even with a press of a button? Or are you going to make it where certain levels force into into one of the perspectives? And what other kind of gameplay aspects are you going to include, like sprinting/crouching/prone/stealth kills or knockouts from behind? And will the guns be like the older games where when you aim, you go into first person view?
Sorry about all the questions, I'm just so excited and want to know more lol
Oh, and do you plan on releasing a demo soon? That would be pretty cool :D
looking good, getting pretty excited :D
How would you guys feel if I made a Let's Play of this?
nevermind, he just did a reinstall of the mod and hotfix, and got it working.
But damn these easy AI's are hard! Need more practice I guess, but amazing mod!
So I'm trying to play this with my friend, and apparently we have different check sums, even though we both downloaded the same files and did the same installation
Awesome work, guys! Every new picture I see, I get more excited for this game!
ah, ok, apparently I was missing the NC_CUSTUM_HUD.PK3 (for some reason, it only downloaded the NCHUD_BD.PK3). And I was never told to actually drag the files over on top of the GZDoom.exe, the website just told me to add things to the .ini. But, I got it working now, thank you for your help :D
Nope, nothing's working. I guess I'll just stick with Zandronum, considering I'm able to launch it in Hardware mode, which allows me to look up and down without the FOV freaking out.
Well, I still get the same message when I try to open ZDoom, and I haven't even modified it
I thought ZDoom was Zandronum...
ahh, this is more like it
I tried following the instructions, but I keep getting this message on the Zandronum launcher:
Execution could not continue.
Script error, "zdoom.pk3:language.enu" line 1610:
Expected '=', got 'ifgame'.
oooo this looks MUCH tastier than v19! Can't wait!
That's what I'm trying to figure out, though :\
I LOVE this add-on, but I was wondering if I'm able to use this along with another add-on or 2? Because I want to use a different visor style while playing this Enhanced Edition. Is that possible? If so, how would I do that?
ah, got it working, thanks! I think I used OpenGL, but I also changed some settings, so not sure. Either way, I got it, thanks for the help :)
Can anyone please tell me how you get it where whenever you look up or down, it stays normal? Because for me, whenever I play Brutal Doom, and I look up or down, the FoV goes crazy, and the skybox seems to mess up as well.
Or maybe they're just sooo big, you can see them from space...
oh, I think he's talking about making the models in the Unreal Engine, as he states he was using the Unity before. It should still be for FONV, unless I missed something
what makes you ask that?
I literally just got into 3D modelling like at the beginning of this week, lol, so if anyone hasn't taken this position within the next few months, I might be of some help
