we are in the process of making arcade style games for Echo these will be released on the store for Iphone in a few days (assuming all goes well).

as i am sure that all your time will now be spent rectifying the paramount calamity of the floss, can't u just make the use of plasma overload damage the ship that uses it every time it fires as it would fit in with the safety issue
it looks like a swarmer thing, maybe use a bit more of, the central spire style of a needle ship, but i think that it looks great, just not really like a bc
this is a really nice model but i think that it would look more like a heavy swarmer if the gun module was more attached to the top half of the ship, that would set it apart from the rest of the swarmers
that looks awesome, for the ion beam, try something really different for the kadeshi ,like one of the explosion textures, or an .anim texture i think red would be the best colour, yellow is for the keepers
i know that this is a work in progress but, i would suggest that you don't have the yellow in the texture, red is a more kadeshi texture if you ask me, like the nebula from hw 1. in the way of weapons how about you try having the dome covered in ions and other heavy weapons for anti capital-ship and along the spire you put rows of small hull defense guns
