To those of you that are having problems. Place the ccm folder into your Company of Heroes 2 main directory, wherever that may be.

Then
For those with the retail version - you're going to have to find your shortcut to company of heroes, right click it and go into properties. There is a box that says "Company of Heroes 2", type in -dev next to it so it reads "Company of Heroes 2-dev" (without the "").

For those of you with the steam version - Right click your steam CoH2 and go into properties, click on "Set Launch Options..." and type in "-dev" (without the ""). Ok and you're done there

Back to everyone - Go into the game, start a battle and hit Ctrl-Shift-` or Ctrl-Shift-@
That will open the console. Copy the following: dofile("ccm/ccm.scar")
Paste it into the console and hit enter. Then all should be well.

You're going to need to paste that phrase into the console every time a battle starts from then on to activate the mod though.
Have fun

It will not.
You have to revert back to 2.5.2.
It can be done on steam by right clicking CK2, going onto properties, entering the 'betas' tab and clicking on the opt out of betas slide. It should give you the option for 2.5.2. Click on that, and wait for CK2 to download the update on steam. After that, the mod should work.

You can always switch back using the same method if you don't like the mod, or if the mod updates etc.

It's a fantastic mod. The only problem I have with it is that the flu decided to come and visit for a few years and hasn't quite left yet.

Long story short, i'm broke, heirless and all of my remaining vassals are children xD

But the funny thing is that, looking at the map, it's happening all across the world. Alinor has it in every region in their continent. Soon there won't be anyone left. haha can't wait to be the last person alive in Tamriel!

Waiiting.
4 years waiting. It's getting cold up here. Going to run out of food sometime soon. Precious food...

Still. I look at what's done and my stomach warms up and I get all frizzly inside xD
Take your time, I still have a few more years left.

Yup! But Star Wars is prioritized still so you may have to come back in 10 years time (No Joke).
I'm sure it will be worth the wait :)

This looks amazing! If this turns out as well as you make it out to be you should try working with the ACOK modders.
I'm sure you two could share some knowladge and make better mods out of it (Such as Dragons in ACOK and Thalmor invading forces in Tamriel)

Anyway. Good luck and i'm looking forward to seeing this mod! :D

But Bannerlords has no release date yet and by the looks of their current progress (That they've shown us), we won't see it for quite some time now.

I've been playing this non-stop since the mod updated and I've not had a single problem at all.

Isn't the whole idea of war using tactics to get the advantage over the enemy?
Calling Tactics unfair is like saying you cheated in a race because you ran instead of walked.

That's awesome news! but it also means ill have to wait longer for the mod which isn't awesome news. But then I guess it will be an even better mod so that's more good than bad news.

Sorry, I'm really really hyper and I'm really really excited for this mod after waiting for a couple of years for it :)

The Capital was under control of House Baratheon with king Robert. King Robert died and so his eldest son (Joffrey) came into the throne under House Lannister because of Queen Cersei.
So really, King's landing should be House Lannister's.
The Crownlands should really be under control of Stannis because not long after the death of Renley, Stannis took control of his troops. However, House Baratheon wasn't destroyed.
So whether the fiefs of the Crownlands should be under the power of House Baratheon or House Baratheon of Dragonstone can be debated.

Well in warband, yes it would be more of a disadvantage to the archers.
But back then hunting skills and skirmishing was used in the woods. Where archers shot through the tree lines and it was hard to spot where the arrow had come from. Somewhat like sniper tactics are used today, the archers would wait, take a shot or two and move.
Then again in a full-scale battle with hundreds of men, formations would be made and so on and at that point, archers would have a disadvantage.
So I guess it depends on the way you choose to think about it that you should decide whether it is a disadvantage or not.

This is a great mod!
The only problem I have is that Archers should have an advantage in woods, not a disadvantage.
It was widely known that in medieval Britain, the greatest archers generally came from woodland areas because they had experience in hunting and had an adept eye sight for looking through the woods and aiming well with a bow.
But that's just a suggestion to fix :)

Yeah, this is a very buggy mod, but it's understandable since it's only in beta.
The best I can do is tell you to open your camp menu and click on your mod options. Then activate drowning underwater during missions and you won't be stuck underwater until the game ends. Either that or hit tab and retreat and try again.
