It would be very cinematic that his clothes get diry as the story progresses to the point his top gets ripped up and maybe the wind blows his hood off his head.

But I guess it would make the game more interesting if there are multiple ways to beat the bosses. Either go heavy metal on 'em, use wits and stuff in the environment, run and escape (Especially with very hard bosses) or if any of them are humans possessed by something evil thats controlling them, use a special item to save them (Like some boss I recall from Silent Hill 1).
Man, this mod is so popular, I wonder if its getting sequel.

Weapon slots? As in you'll no longer carry ridculous amounts of guns
and instead have a practical arsenal (Typical primary arm+side arm set)
I also think that the Co-op servers should all only
allow up to two players. From my experiences, a whole bunch of players in a co-op server sort of takes away the fun of a slow-paced tactical teamwork experience with everyone running around and stuff.

What I'd prefer is encouragement of teamwork, careful tactics and stuff like that.
What about my idea of changing the movement speed, the default value of 400 is rather not my thing. So if it's going to be a new story, that sounds great but it would sound unpractical for more than one character to have a joint hallucination.
So finally those common baddies have an official name.
"Twitcher" sure suits it better than "Zombie".
I hope you would tone down the default movement speed, not only it would help tense up the atmosphere but also make it less frustrating for the Co-op players to stick together and stuff like that.

Well, if there's one effect which I'll be satisfied with without anything else would the flashlight effects.
When I play Paranoia, I just get the original HL flashlight.
And since I don't have Open GL, I'm worried that the water may look like a flat piece of colourless CG junk or something glitchy like that.
