Hello! I am just a guy who loves creating things, which have led me to a quite successful career in the flash game "Happy Wheels" and eventually also led me to Amnesia: The Dark Descent mods, and now, game developing.

Not working? What kind of Ps3 controller do you have, and does it give any signs of being connected?

...No game maps itself for you. It has a set of buttons assigned, and you need to remap them yourself if anything ius wrong. But as I clearly said, Ps3 controllers should work perfectly as the mapping is based on that one. It's Xbox which might have some issues with the default buttons. :P

I chose the 5 levels with good purpose, so they are challenging and very unique. As long as I've fixed it up well enough I think you'll enjoy. Stay tuned for it! ;)

Oh, I didn't see your comment before now. IndieDB annoyingly doesn't give any kind of notice for it, it is especially hard to notice in the gallery.

...Anyways, I am really glad you like it, I haven't gotten too many responses on it yet, so it is great to hear it is a good thing. But I can promise it will only be one of several challenges, but it is probably the biggest extra one. To access all challenges you also have to beat the game with all goldspheres collected as well, which gives a nice treat at the end, along with at least one new challenge in the arena. The arena itself will be accessible after the final boss of the game, not including all challenges of course.

I also have a very similar photo like this, except with the bosses instead of mini bosses, but I choose not to reveal it as bosses would be more or less massive spoilers with a few of them. ;)

Final boss map? At the end of that early trailer kind of thing you mean? :P

Anyways, glad you like it, I just finished up the second world today, and all the four first bosses are fixed up as well, so I'm considering a demo very soon possibly. ;)

Ah, like in the cave you mean? I have only detailed what is most noticeable, so there are a lot of empty space in some levels. I'll get to it sometime I'm sure, but seeing as I have a ton of work ahead of me in order to reach the goal... It won't be prioritized at this time. I will probably come back for a lot of bug fixing and improvements as soon as the game looks and works at least decently all over. But for now; don't worry about it.

However, on a completely different note... I would love to hear your opinion on the newest photo I added. So if you can, tell me. :P

And character customization? Well, you probably never saw, but the game was planned to ONLY have customize able characters to begin with, but I decided to go for some cool characters you could relate to instead. I gotta say though, I am happy with that decision. But a customize able character after completion? I agree, I'll see what I can do. :P

Thank you! I think you are mistaken about the split screen though, as the game does not have that anymore. (At least not at the moment) It was removed due to huge performance issues, I might take it back up sometime as an option you can choose, but for now the screen is shared. I'm very glad you like the hard work which has been put into it, and I hope future stuff won't disappoint. But with slow-mo animations, could you give some examples? I'll have a look at it and speed 'em up. :P

Anyways, thanks, it motivates me to finally see a comment again. :)

Just thought I'd say that controller support works perfectly fine now, if you use a program like JoyToKey or Xpadder to map the buttons. :D

Oh, am I happy someone saw! Yes, I played WW and it proved to be my favorite zelda game of all time, plus one of my favorite games in general. It really awakaned my love for toony things as well, before that I was actually more into horror games, which is why I have a horror game in development now. It is currently not being worked on though, as I'm finishing this first.

To be fair though, I have actually only thought of WW when making the expressions a little bit of the time. I am going down the same path as WW though, in terms of style. Sorta anyway.

Glad you are interested as well, it gets kinda empty with comments and stuff at times, so it really helps my motivation. I can guarantee I will post a big update whenever it hits greenlight. ;)

Ah, yeah, I can safely confirm this. There are a ton of ups and downs in the process, but eventually getting where you want it to be is satisfying in the end.
What I like to say is that if I'm not happy with it, I'm not done with it. A game should be made with a strong passion for it to be completed, but in the right hands it can become a great game in the end.

On a completely different matter, I have seen this project quite a few times on IndieDB by now, and I think it looks pretty neat, so I should wish you good luck further on it by now. ;)

Controller support is not planned at all. However it is a suggestion for a much later part of development, when my priority list doesn't need to be so strict. The story isn't supposed to be overly complicated, a bit in the direction of mario, or Castle crashers. So in an interesting storyline I'm not exactly talking about the next metal gear, haha. Pretty simple, yet there will be things to pick up on the way if you take a look and notice. Oh, and thanks, I will need all the luck I can get, I'm sure. ;)

Well, I have come a lot longer with the other project. I feel it has a lot more personality than this one at the moment, and not only that, but it teaches me a lot more I need to know about game developing, because the scripting is a bit simpler in 2D(Often, anyways). When I get back to this, I wont think "I Wonder how I do that. I better Google it", I'll actually know. Both can teach me a lot, but... The platformer helps a lot more with the basics, anyway. That comment kind of put me down a bit, but its good you say what you think. This isn't cancelled either way. I see no reason why neither should be more important than the other though... I have hopes for both.
