they use a program callet tunngle for multiplayer, its useful for many games as well.

1. i love this mod alot and your hard work on it.
2. out of the many stargate mods i have played for different games and by different groups and by far you guys are the best when it comes to helping with issues and how fast you respond.
3.out of the groups you guys are the only ones who will help explain how to modify files for personal use in the mod, you guys know what i mean because i always asked for your help in that field and i learned from you help and i thank you.

sorry for the really late reply, ive been doing a stargate build on xbox one minecraft and its time consuming. ill try that note pad later today. ill let you know if i make any progress

now it popped up xml phrase error-file. \Data\XML\ Unit_Space_Tauri_The_RailGun.xml: file has syntax errors, see log file. i even fixed my spelling errors in the string, i named the string wrong in the .dat file.

i did do all of that. the thing is the game doesnt always read the file. i added a new string for my ship, i made the xml for the ship, i added it to the starbase, i added it to the gameobjects xml, but i still got nothing. is it because i just copied the original bc-304 file and changed everything?

i just realized the game doesnt register my ships xml file. its all there but the game doesnt make it appear.

i dont get it, i added the ship string, i added it to the space station under the tauri for all but 1 space station lvl, i added it to the gameobjects.xml i have it as its own xml. the ship im trying to create is going to be called The RailGun, but idk what im doing wrong.
what is this for or where do i place it?

im not fully understanding spino, im sorry if im making it hard to explain, i have been trying to understand what you told me but im just not grasping it much. it may be my fault for not explaining what i fully meant. would i be able to change stuff in a copy of the bc-304 file to make another ship build able? how exactly would i do that. once again im sorry for making you explain how to do it so much =(

how exactly would you do that? ive been trying what spino said but im just not grasping it. i would love to learn how you guys or girls do it but i just dont know much about modding. the only thing i really know is how to change a few things on a xml file but thats about it, adding a separate ship would be great.

i dont understand......the main ship? is that the interceptor4_frigate? i think you might have dummed it down to much for me. i get a bit of it just not all of it. the variant is the actual mod ship but what do you mean by linking it to main ship?

Wait, that's possible? If you could explain how that would be great, that way I don't have to completely change the original BC-304 files anymore than I want to. I'd appreciate it if you could, maybe in a pm or what ever is easier.

sadly thats what i want....as you know i made changes to the games xml's for personal use but i just dont know how to make it where ships can individual names lol. dont get me wrong tho i love how your mod is made..........its just it would be cool to have different named ships in a single battle, you get what i mean?
