There also seems to be a bug in Operation Neptune - I've played this several times, before and after updating to 6.1.8 beta 2, and the same thing always happens. It crashes with a fatal scar error when the trucks leave the motor pool. Does anyone else have this problem?

I've played a couple of scenarios as skirmishes, with settings to control the victory points, and with the CPU set as "hard". But the AI doesn't seem as tough as before. They don't seem to build tanks - only half tracks and other vehicles. I've been able to defeat the Germans AI much more easily than usual.

Finally figured out what I had done wrong - I'd deleted the original europe at war folder! Finally got it working!

I've been trying to install the latest version of this. I'm using the Steam version, so i have installed the following files into the steam/company of heroes relaunch folder:
- europe_at_war_v6.1.6_English.rar
- europe_at_war_v6.1.7_English_hotfix.rar
- unzipped the folder europe_at_war_v6.1.8_beta2.zip
I installed them in this order. However, the units still appear as blue cubes. What have I done wrong? How do I get the installation to work?

The steam/ company of heroes relaunch folder also contains Eastern Front, but this works fine.

Hello! Can you explain in detail how to install the latest version? I've tried this several times, but I think I only get as far as version 6.1.6. Whenever I try to download 6.1.8, Desura tells me there's an mcf error, and if I try to download outside of Desura, the zipped file will not unzip.

I've tried installing this beta via desura, and it gives me an error message - "mcf error, invalid path". Also, I've tried downloading outside of desura. Downloads fine, but when I've tried to unzip the folder, it always says that the data is corrupt. Tried several zip utilities, and non will extract the download.

I've been trying to play the EAW skirmish map Operation Neptune - every time I get tasked to "raid the motorpool" the game crashes, with a message about a "fatal scar error".

Similar problem with the "Canyon" map - got right to the end, clicked to call in a Wellington bomber run, and a fatal scar error occurred.

Anyone else get this? Is there a fix?
