:) I agree entirely that the vanilla models are horrible and horribly inaccurate to their real life counter-parts.
I was wondering do you use the base model as a reference or is this made completely from ground up? BTW love your work Millenia I have play many of your mods since you first started modding and may I say you have really improved.
I don't actually know but I would say the FOV is near 80-95 I have a 1920x1080 widescreen monitor if that helps in any way.
One more thing though and I know that my comments are getting to a point where there are too many but I am having problems with the FOV with the mod, instead of zooming in when I go into iron sights it zooms out just a tiny bit I think that may be because the weapon configs have the weapons iron sights FOV set higher to the base FOV which means I can not accurately aim down the sights in order to take down a enemy with a head shot which also means I have to resort to using the cross hair which I turn off during my playthroughs of any game if someone can help me with this problem or even KamikaZzeRu if you are reading this please tell me a solution to this problem.
Never mind I just realized that if you talk to the stalker by the entrance he says that they wont talk to me since I am the marked one and I have to prove I am alright to talk to XD Great mod BTW.
I managed to fix it somehow by deleting the XR_3DA.exe and xrCore.dll and verifying the games cache on steam although I don't really know if the game is broken or not since I haven't ran into any problems so far.
EDIT: Ok the game is broken but working the bug that I am experiencing is that the stalkers in starting area shoot at me on sight if I get anywhere near them which means I cant talk to Wolf.

Update: I have also tested the mod out on the GOG.com version of the game which runs a custom version 2.0005 made for GOG.com version only and I can confirm that it has the same problems as the Steam version. I am hoping that this gets fixed or someone finds a solution to the matter soon since I am holding off on starting a play through until someone finds a fix or the devs fix it.
Just a quick question about the mod, are the models of the guns in version 1.1 placeholders for now until you finish all weapons or are they the final release?
Hi, I need help urgently! I have the Steam version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R SoC and I am having problems with installing the mod. Every time I launch the game it pops up with a error message saying: XR_3DA.exe Entry Point Not Found and a bunch of text saying stuff like, $basic_string@DU$char_traits then ending with could not be located in the dynamic link library xrCore.dll. Please help I really want to play this mod and this problem is preventing me from playing the game, I have tried countless fixes like downgrading my games version or re-installing and installing on a clean install. Please help :(
No I think you misunderstood I think it is too easy and in a way unbalanced. I will try to explain it with as little words possible. I like being shot down in a few shots but it is frustrating when you cant kill a simple zombie with 3 shots to the head with a shotgun, that's what I am experiencing right now and it disappoints me because I finished all S.T.A.L.K.E.R games on Master difficulty and I would usually lose in a gun battle because I made fatal mistake. All I am really trying to say is the health points for some enemies need to be modified so we don't have scenarios where you have to take down 5-10 enemies but they are bullet sponges.
This is a great standalone mod and it couldn't be any better apart from adding in the sound and stealth bar but there is one thing that gets me and it's that Master difficulty only really affects the player and since I am used to having quick gun battles because of Call of Pripyats Master difficulty with the Arsenal Overhaul mod it makes the whole game feel unbalanced for example, enemies can take me down in a less than 4 shots but they can survive 2 head shots and the zombies for some odd reason can withstand a whole 2 buckshot rounds point blank in the face and not even flinch. Now I know the mod is supposed to give players an experience of what it was like to play the Alpha version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R SoC but in my honest opinion I don't think it would hurt to maybe tweak a few things to give players like myself an even better time than what you currently are giving us, but apart from all of that if anyone or maybe even one of the developers are reading this and know how to tweak the difficulty to make the game much more balanced in Master difficulty please contact me asap or if the developers are reading this please consider some of the things I have put down here. BTW love how you fixed the collision meshes with NPCs so it doesn't feel like you are being pushed away by some force field like in the vanilla games :P

For some reason whenever the game loads different maps with the mod installed it just crashes I think it may be because of the new update with Half Life.
I am genuinely amazed at how good this even though I don't really pay much attention to zombie mods or games but this one definitely caught my eye.
This game looks very interesting but the one thing I like is that the game reminds me of some of the old 2D/3D games that have a similar sort of render to the players and zombies

I love the mod and before I say this I know the mod is based on making the game more difficult but is it possible to add more options to the difficulty of the mod? I find it very hard to even survive out of the spawn and usually get torn apart by some rabid dogs or soldiers that have in-human ability to see enemies from afar, so if that in-game difficulty menu were to be added I would be so happy. By any chance one of the mods developers is ready this, Thank you for your time and thank you for this wonderful mod.

Does this include AtmosFear? If it does can you please include a download which doesn't have it installed with the mod? I downloaded this for guns not graphical improvements.
Thermal scopes are in the vanilla game as well and they are pretty accurate but zoom to far to see through doors properly.
Would it be possible to implement stealth kill animations?
There are heartbeat sensors in the vanilla version.
Will there be a possibility of maybe a alpha or beta? That way we can also spot some bugs for you to help you in the final release :D
Is there any official release date yet? Because I am holding off on playing Athena Sword & Iron Wrath just for this mod. Can't wait! :D
I like the game and I have had it for a while now but to be honest the first day I played it I got really boring very quickly. I started playing again but there is just a few problems, what bothers me is how the weapons decrease by number when you use them only once, could you please replace that with maybe weapon condition so that the weapon deteriorates over time instead of the numbers, the other problem is that you move to fast and it feels like your playing Quake. If you could just fix these minor issues I would be soo happy. Thank you
I was wondering if you could add the S.T.A.L.K.E.R re-animation project to this or even just make it compatible because I feel that the animations and the fire rates are pretty boring and I like the feeling of being able to shoot as fast as I can press my mouse down with some of the more weaker pistols
it does have some minecraft sounds in it but apart from that its an okay game
