Woot! Thanks guys.
Yup, the kabuto is as old as the project itself, rest assured it's just a placeholder right now. Awesome ones to come ;)

Not sure when we'll be sharing more audio - but I can't wait, Patrik and Jake have been working on some really great ambient tracks.
Hey everyone, Sorry for the lack of updates from me over the Christmas Holidays. I moved house and ended up not having internet for over a month!! (I almost died from withdrawals).
We're back at it, and should have some cool updates following up the weapon customisation stuff when it's ready. I can't give an ETA but it should be our next update.
Hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Years!! And as always, we REALLY appreciate your support.
Hey LumenLumen, Yeah I use substance designer and photoshop.
Hey, fair comments guys. Thanks for keeping things constructive. We will have many different kabutos to pick from, but rest assured you have been heard. I will work on an improved version. Cheers!
Thanks a lot for the support!
-Basically you play as a single samurai/ninja/monk and face off against other players. We currently have no plans for a single player campaign with armies and so on. I hope that answers your first question.
-Second question, it's too early to tell. We'll talk more about system specs in the future.
I thought I spotted a monk but he vanished in a cloud of smoke! hehe. We'll have another update soon(tm).
Thanks! I think you'll like our next update...
Thanks! Of course ;)

I should point out that this is a super quick test that I wasn't even certain on posting or not. There's a ton of different options on what type of textures can be used on the dirt, how its masked, how intense it is etc. So the snow will not look this way in the final textures. Appreciate the feedback tho.
I have a DK2 so we'll try and support it :)
haha will do!
Hey - Just wanted to update this question.
I've had a few months to play around with the Oculus Rift DK2 and what it has to offer/ various other demos and I'm completely blown away by it. I can't make any promises but I'd kill to have it implemented into Bushido.
We're aiming to have a bunch of different heads that you pick from, they wont be tied to class.
Internally I'm creating these faces with 'who is this character?' in my mind to try and bring a bit more character to them than the heads we used earlier in the project. But just to be clear, we want you to be able to use whatever face you want in the end no matter the armor! ;)
Body customization isn't currently planned :(
I'd really love to, I think they're a great historical icon and would bring a lot to the table visually. Unfortunately in order to do them justice they would need their own body type which means existing sculpts of armors and other customization elements would have to be re-created as well. Currently they're not on the essentials list for development time reasons but it's something I want to be able to do.
Thanks for the awesome comments everyone!
Thanks a lot man! :)
Nah about 90% of my work outside of Bushido have NDAs. So I really only post extra bits and pieces I get done in my free time on here or on flickr (though flickr is mostly WIP stuff).
