Hello there ! I am sorry you find the game too difficult. It was hard to balance but we really wanted to offer our vision of how the combat should be. During the play test we found that players really felt the difficulty at first but then started to understand better how to make it easier and then didn't feel any difficulty at all. So I don't really believe the difficulty is too high. Though we should have been more careful in making the difficulty level rise over time. I can say that maybe it starts a bit too high.

Please verify that your folder inside sourcemods is named "Logistique" and that subtitles are still on in your .cfg IF you edited it.
Also make sure you are using the "-upcoming" version of the beta for the source sdk.

just SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer will do fine ! It's a standalone mod.

And the gameinfo.txt is right inside it, not under any subfolder what so ever ? You still have the same bug, crashing when map start ?

We are not sure yet, it's "in process" since a month already. Wouldnt count on it for another two more :/. Updating the mod as we speak to version 1.1 tho.

Hello JustANormalHat ! I am sorry you are having issues with our mod. We playtested it on a dozen configuration and language settings and nobody reported annoying crashes like the ones you are experiencing. Do you happen to have other standalone mods running correctly ? Have you tried to reinstall the source singleplayer sdk [upcoming] ? Hope this helps

Thank you for your feedback. We know the platforming part of the game can be a bit outputting. We wanted to offer varying gameplay sessions which can mean that some people may lose track during one of them. That's why we offered the possibility to pass the chapter and start chapter 4 directly.
