A well made mod, for the most part. The models were well made, the story was...cliche to a fault. There were also a few glitches. One made the health bar always appear empty, so you had no idea how much health you had. Another was the walk cycle changed from unarmed to assault rifle, and the walking speed was slowed down.
A well made mod, despite those two flaws (and probably more).

An exceptional mod. The map design was equal if not superior to the base game. The ending level was tacked on, though. Another thing that bothered me was in Alleyways part 3 (I think) where if you don't find the path, you are met with infinite waves of enemies. That was the only time I ran out of ammo in ALL weapons in Max Payne 2.

This is an excellent mod. It makes Max Payne even more...gamey...if that makes sense. Headshots are no longer instakills, and bosses such as Kaufman are now much harder and more intense. The music selection screen is a very nice addition. The new skin is very well made. The new animations are eye-candy as well. All in all, it is a fantastic mod with little to no flaws.

A good mod. The new magic powers and swords are fun to use. The new shootdodges are very well animated. However, some may have a problem with the two handed weapon shootdodges, where you stay in position. It defeats the purpose of a shootdodge.

A simple but entertaining mod. You only tweaked the damage values, but it made the game much more tactical and fun. A great way to play the game if the vanilla difficulty isn't enough.

An interesting concept badly executed. It gets the job done, however when you shootdodge backwards or roll in any direction you see Max Payne's full body. All this mod does is change the camera location, and this is made obvious through seeing bits of Max's head when you walk into a wall or a door.
2nd Version (Shepard)
Much better. Much MUCH better. Rolling and shootdodging no longer goes noticeably out of 1st Person. The new guns are fun to use, too. I really enjoy this version. However, cutscenes and mirrors should be avoided. Max often appears headless, which is necessary to make it better in gameplay. That, as much as it is necessary, is why this doesn't get a 9 or 10.

This mod is truly amazing. The music that plays during bullet-time, the new weapons, all of it. The only problem I have is the unfitting protagonist skins. Mona and Max aren't supposed to look like somebody from The Matrix.

An amazing mod for Max Payne 2. The new weapons are amazing, and so are the new skins. Almost everything about this mod is perfect. The only problem I have with it (and this doesn't even effect gameplay, it's just a peeve of mine) is the shootdodge animation. When he flips, and his gun is turned in a complete different direction then where he should be shooting.
