You do realize all they did was take the MP1 skin already in the game, right? Don't rate the mod based on a model they didn't make.
Nah. But the bloody corpse once the bullet goes through...THAT will be sexy.
Not what I meant, but I suppose. That muzzle flash DOES look pretty hot.
Why not? Sure, it requires co-op, and it was PS2 exclusive, but I don't remember it being too bad, and it's considered canon (What with Breen showing up and the two hazard suits worn by the protagonists there missing in the base game), I think it would be neat. Your choice, but again, why not?
It's the eyes, dude.
It's the eyes.
So no disarms like that as you could in Max Payne 3?
It honestly looks kind of creepy.
This new set of screenshots...just...fantastic. This is going to be a fantastic mod.
Only for executions.
I was referring to all the fans of pewdiepie's that go to the other playthrougher's videos and scream and whine at them for 'coping pewdie!!!!!!!'.
I played this with the intention of reviewing, however I cannot review a mod that is To Be Decided. Please set it to released so I can write my review. Thank you.
You're really obnoxious, you know that? Some people heavily enjoy this mod. I suggest you stop acting like a pewdiepie fan saying anything that could possibly compete with something they like is plagiarizing or inferior.
I check back here every day to make sure I will be the first person to review it. I am eager to play this mod, but take as much time as you require to make it as good as possible.
True, but it can still be really goddamn annoying.
Does anybody know the song?
Personally, I think the graphics are a bad thing. If people keep going for photo realism, games will be too costly to make a profit off of. I think we should stick to aesthetic style for some games and lackluster but good graphics for games like this. I would hate to see another video game crash.
Would you kindly stop COPY/PASTING EVERY DAMN COMMENT YOU HAVE EVER MADE!?
It's certainly difficult to have this sort of gameplay style without any sort of cover system. It really suffers from the same problem Blood Money had. Is it by any chance possible to have Max slow his moving speed while aiming? That would probably fix the issues for the most part.
HE'S ALREADY SAID BEFORE THAT LOCATION DAMAGE AND ANIMATIONS IS COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE!
So around how much more do you have to work on, The_Silver?
I think he probably meant the ones from the prologue chapters.
This is not going to be a god mod. It is actually going to make the game arguably more difficult.
No need to be an *** about it. You've said things like "..." before, which is immature and a waste of space. Stop being a hypocrite.
If it hadn't already been implemented he probably would have done so, which would be more work for him to do and more waiting for us to go through for something as small as that.
Probably not, and if it is, please stop delaying this mod further.
It says TBD, so it's TBD.
Jesus Christ, man. Calm down! A simple "No, there will not be a beta," would suffice just as well. Don't throw a tantrum.
It most certainly won't. He seems to think that he is looking to copy over all content from Max Payne 3, rather than make Max Payne 2 more like it.
It's not out yet.
So around how much more do you have to get done?
I have no clue why I thought so hard, but it occurred to me that you sped up the bullet time noises and then pitch shifted it so it wouldn't sound high pitched, and then, you said yourself that bullet time is slower. So it would then sound a lot like it does in Max Payne 3. Am I correct?
I doubt it would still be more violent then the knifing in your own Payne Effects 3. That is so brutal I drool just thinking about it.
Perhaps he found a workaround for the dual wielding like he did the character selection?
Every time you speak I feel less and less significant.
-EDIT- Wait...In DMW he will be commenting on it, and that will be lip synced? Aren't those comments usually in retrospect, with him looking back on the events, seemingly telling them to another?
I just have one question. Will Max's model be lip synced? I don't even mean accurately, but will his mouth move? I played the Chow Yun Fat mod for this game and the mouth never moved, so I am just wondering if this mod will have the same issue.
The only problem I can see is in the photo and not even noticeable in game. Agent Payne's glasses look slightly wonky. I may even be wrong on that one, in fact, that's quite likely. You're the The_Silver of Max Payne 1.
It would be pretty cool if they changed to other noises in bullet time as they do in Max Payne 3, but I'm not sure if that's even possible.
So how many more things do you have to finish up?
Bloody fine job. I'm sure this mod will be fantastic once it's done.
That sounds absolutely fantastic.
More diversity in the people who's heads you can split open with a crowbar. Nothing wrong about that.
The only thing in this trailer that isn't quite possibly the greatest thing to ever happen is that, right before the title, he ***** back the slide...of a revolver. Besides that, though, this is ******* amazing.
Looks great. My expectations for this mod are thrown ever higher.
I disagree, but I have been proven wrong. I simply misinterpreted what he said. Just the part about cutscenes being fun and interactive was a bit amusing to me before he explained what he actually meant.
I wasn't saying he was going to make Max Payne 2 worse. I said that the way he worded what he said about the Max Payne 3 cutscenes has hilariously wrong. In Max Payne 3, you would shoot a bit, get a cutscene that is really long and cannot be skipped. Shoot up another room, another super long cutscene that can only be skipped right at the very end. And sometimes, one cutscene would end and immediately go to another.
I just noticed something rather amusing. This says that you are adding gameplay elements to cutscenes, "like you experienced in Max Payne 3."
Max Payne 3 is notorious for its bad implementation of cutscenes.
I like the beard, to be honest.
Badass to a fault, but I have a quick question. In Max Payne 3, his eyes are...well...wrinkled. Have you gotten rid of those while giving it the wound?
Sorry, but we aren't ALL serial killers that observe the exact details of corpses. And besides, this is to make it more like Max Payne 3, not make it ArmA 2. In Max Payne 3 their hands relax.
No. This has already been answered numerous times.
