me too, i ordered it day one back in the days as it was released and i still love it! i still listen to it every now and then, it's awesome for driving late at a rainy night in your car on the hightway, or listen to it while drawing/working.

nice props, especially the garbage can... the bag could use some specmaps, no? if there's no plastic-like reflections because of a heavy dust layer i would at least let some parts shine through, just to support the material and to make it more easy to recognize it.
nice atomoshpere, but the sizes of the garaffitis are not realistic, each one is way to small - especially the "TERROR"-one, looks like its done with markers instead of cans. also the alignment doesn't make much sensce ("blink.", "SOS!" and "CROE" for example)
if your neightboorhood is clean, i would use google to have a look how graffitis and tags are placed and what the sizes are, comapred to yours. ;)

the torso of the statue looks a bit weird, like its abnormaly twisted/shifted just to get into that pose. otherwise, great light and atmosphere again. :)

looks good but i would try to make the smoke colour more suitable towards the smokestacks, since they are more "blurry" and far in the back, the smoke has to be either "faked" regarding that distance to the player by changing the colour or you can change the particle settings somehow, dunno whats more easy to handle.

to be honest i liked the old one more (the one that's still active in the banner above), i just clicked on the new image without knowing which mod this update was from and was kinda confused because the two new ones look like for some sort of medieval thing, not a futuristic "advanced technological civilization" battling "mages, based around magic".
i would aim for a more futuristic, cold and straight logofont, or maybe a mixture to show of the two sides which have a war going on in your mod. this one just misleads imho.
i do like all the new screenshots! the engine is great fuch such an project but i think something is wrong with the lighting or the shaders or atleast the textures - all the houses look so flat, like theres no light rendering on the surfaces. i took this screenshot because its clearly visible here, but you can see it on others from the new collection too. hope you understand what i mean, and that it'll be fixable. :)

i like the models, hands look great and they are interesting characters, but:
i would strongly suggest you redo the faces, these are the weakest parts of your models imho. for sean i wouldn't stretch and oversize the hairtexture to use them as streaks in the face, i would go with new ones in better resolution - even if they are sitting well here and fit, they just look lowres and stretched. i also wouldn't make his beard so solid - especially the moustache.
are you gonig to use other textures like norm- and disp- beside diff-maps too?

great news posting, i just found out about this "mod" a few minutes ago and have to bow infront of you - is this a one-man-project? seriously? the outcome and progress, especially in comparison to other amnesia custom maps (there are no "real" mods imho) is just breathtaking...

from what i can see and tell: looking good! love the atmosphere (twin peaks soundtrack ;D), lights, models and the town... espeically the inside of the diner and the differences overall when theres night and day.

i still remember when team blur games decided to stop evolving quake 2 and moved on to this project - the hate messages and troll attacks where huge these days in the forums but i kinda thought you guys knew what to do. dunno how many years from now this actually was, but i still know how impressed i was by looking at the new water effects, shaders, hd resolutions and texture work you guys had back in the days already. now - even without lots of candy animations the actual result you guys showing of is phenomenal, especially while realizing you started with q2. the artwork, maps, colours, effects and atmosphere is really outstanding. :)
i love how you'll incorporate parkour features and think about basics too - can't wait to see body animations, camera movement and effects while dodging and sliding through the field of fire! looking forward to see more from you!
btw. found it kinda odd hat you didn't mention "brink", "rage" or "fallout" as references because there are clearly some influence going on imho... just wolfenstein and mirror's edge?! sure thing ;)

i bookmarked your blog, glad you are responding to the suggestions of the users - i'll have a look again when you've added some sort of menu. "But spring break approaches, who knows how I could make use of that time?" well, well... would be nice if you'd continue that project - it deserves the spotlight imho! :)
edit: i played it now, love the atmosphere and the architecture, lightning, colours shapes and sizes of the buildings but:
- you have to make it possible somehow to change resolution, fullscreen and v-sync options - maybe also detail options (like mentioned by Inko above, the shadows are very "blocky" and low detailish, doesn't have to be ultra hd looking - it should still fit the overall design, but clear edges without "stairs" would be nice)
- at the ending (i think it was the ending, fade to black) you should make at least two buttons: replay, and quit... maybe options too.
this has great potential, it would be even nicer if you could change these small things. and make it last longer maybe ;)

yeah - it looks like it is melting, some sort of liquid fabric ;)
very often your models have almost perfect faces (like you had some sort of ploy for it going on ;)), but the clothes are often to low detail compared with the awesome faces... that's the only thing i would look out for: to have the same standards on the overall model.

damn the ground looks really three-dimensional! great work! only the resolution of the texture it self seems a bit low, while watching the ground textures in the last screenshots in fullscreen mode... the combination of the right amount of bump-level (you defenately have and show) + the detail of f.e. complete-mod textures would be perfect! :)

i think you have to look out for old documentarys, and older films of the late 80's and 90's which where filmed inside and outside the wtc, there are a view but i can't remember the names :/ (often hollywood productions where on ore more scenes where filmed there) - i also tried to search for some older documentarys but it's hard to find anything beside the 9/11 falseflag stuff (i mean it's important that people get informed about that leadership ******** going on in usa but it's hard to find anything without 9/11 in combination with the wtc...)

i think comments listed under a certain media release (pictures, clips, sounds and so on) should be related to it as well. in most cases this works well (if the file is really there...) but i don't get why people itching to post DIRECTLY with a whole load of BS instead of just WAIT till they'll have something to judge or comment to.

yeah the proportions / anatomie is great! love the head too, just add some more folds at his legs, make them a bit wider... right now his clothes looks skin-tight like a diver's suit ;)

what you need to add is more objects, like broken chairs, old steel beams, dirt like papers and wooden stuff on the ground and i would destroy some of the balkonys... the house-texture also looks a bit "new" maybe add some holes or atleast colour changes on the texture.

unbelievable outstanding material, really! i started trackig this mod/campaign/level a long time ago, where there was actually just one or two shots posted. since back then, you already could tell that something big will happen here. :)
i am not into mapping (i'm more like the drawing artist ;)) but realize how much work this has to be and how awesome this already turned out, even in such an early WIP-version. the beautiful ratio and the "right" big feeling is totally there already- i can't wait to walk down there, on the centre of the street, while the heaven above is black and cold and the lights of all the ads shining bright... or are you going to do a "f*cked up" looking place without elec? a bit "iam legend" like? would also fit well... anyway:

(it's so fantastic looking at the zombies burning in the flames, seeing the motionblureffect while running through the "condemned"-like rooms of that old house... i also sow that someone (your great time ;)) FINALLY has built-in MOVEABLE LIGHTSOURCES (if you walk against a lamp, the lightspot swings with it... first time i see that in an source-engine-game *thumbsup*) ;)

i love the new "running"-option and the motion-blurring, your new flashlight and detail-level (of textures, models, shaders, weapons, sounds... EVERYTHING) is also FANTASTIC... do your thing, "MENTALITY" is awfully GREAT!
there only a few bug's i found...
1. after getting the axe, and leaving that room - i walked around it and moved to the door that is bolted and barred -> i punched it with the axe from that other side... (the wood)
if you do so, strange graphics showed up (you could see what i mean here: http: //s5b.directupload.net/images/081019/bkl8xwci.jpg )
2. fire doesn't hurt those "freaks" often - they are not burning while running through the flames
3. there is a "lighting" bug at one air outlet (over the graffiti see here: http: //s1b.directupload.net/images/081019/66kzdyis.jpg )
... i think you allready know about the "scope thing", and the hand-texture bug ;)
