tracking. looks good! :)
like it too! :)
incredible! i start to love unity more and more!
outstanding work guys, this looks so authentic... :)
can't wait to see more.
awesome simple introductions and great coding again! :)
love the green/red contrast, awesome lighting. great nurse models... that valve gotta hurt. ;D
looking forward to your future (project)! can't wait... :)
downloading! CAN'T F!$&ING WAIT! ;D
wish you a fast progress and i have to repeat myself: awesome that you've got biohazard on yours side.
can't wait to see more! :)
on my steam wishlist since yesterday evening! found it while searching for great coop games, glad to see it there! :)
awesome! love the colours and the chick! ;)
love the sunlight coming through, great atmosphere. maybe a bit to crisp and clean? one layer of dust and a bit of fog wouldn't hurt imho. but all in all great atmosphere and nice details! :)
i LOVE that everything is costum made in infra.. looks awesome already even without textures in the back! :)
it's totally wrong that this game can run dx10 or even dx11 in this state. the game-exe is just doing dx9 rendercalls (haev a look if you want), so it doesn't matter what you'll write into the ini-files.. dx10 or even dx11 won't work. its dx9, get over it.
so sad that most of the newspages featuring this mod doesnt have a clue or even proof it before releasing such bs.
"the effects are not in-game" the effects seen in these teaser-shots would fit the mod so good in-game imho. would love to see these inside the playable build... you have to find a good coder or if you already have one: ask him to do it. :D
great progress again! models look also great! :)
like it! :)
looking good. i like the oldschool-style, reminds me of great classic covers like doom, just the right amount of trash flavour and self-irony - good job! first time the big usk actually fits the cover somehow. ;)
who did the artwork? great skills!
i love the details, the destroyed ceiling, the lighting, the textures... really beautifully done! respect.
edit: TRACKING. ofc. :)
i love the fog here... really helps defining the tone here.
great atmosphere again. damn, i can't wait to have a look for myself. :)
i also love the handmade cracked wall in the back! looks awesome. :)
just awesome! btw: that "cold blue atmosphere" fits the rifle very well. :)
great details, great model! btw: i love the blurry hand because of the focus in the back and especially that lens-smudginess according the viewpoint (reminds me of the newest battlefield) - how did you do that? :o
looks awesome! great details! :)
love the art-direction here - and the final outcome ofc. awesome model :)
looks fantastic, love the atmosphere here!
great oldschoolish but still modern sounds! love it dude :)
awesome devblog! this has evolved so much since i first hit that "tracking" button, incredible. :D
can't wait! :)
don't get me wrong! the mapping and the details are great, the shot and the scene is awesome, really. but if i would change something i guess it wouldn't hurt if the groundtexture (soil) and the stoney walltexture would get some stronger norm- and disp-maps. they look a bit flat. ;)
question: do the tombstones have more texture "eyecandy" then the walltexture of the house, or the ground texture on the left for example (norm-maps, disp-maps)? the reflections look brighter and the overall look compared is more "vivid"... they kinda stick out, literally ;)
great update! :)
good luck for fast progressing! looks great already, love the atmosphere and the style... can't wait to see more! :)
i sure will, the demo is a blast! for the ou, you're welcome ;)
congrats, saw that its out on steam and gog.com already! awesome trailer! now i wanna grab that underpants! :)
edit: "it's ou!"... ;)
finished the demo a few minutes ago, LOVE it! great new gameplay ideas, beautiful artdesign, nice visuals (i am kinda impressed ;)) and smooth controls - felt just great, very original and unique but also kinda oldschool! again, thanks for sharing the demo. :)
had one crash at a time, where i cutted a bit strange i guess... i saved the .dmp file, where do i have to send it again (if you are still interested in these crashreports)?
awesome sharp textures (like in-game then?) also nice to have him almost completely filled with shadows - that you can recognize his weapon because of the outline against the lit-up ground is also well placed. nice :)
to answer your question: yes it would be! :D they should finally improve the lighting in source, especially for the sdk and all the modders out there. maybe with the next official source game some bigger changes will be made here. let's hope for it. ;)
lens reflections via shadereditor?
awesome, i love these effects - this ads so much atmosphere, especially for this kinda game. :> the corridor looks fantastic ESPECIALLY because it's wip (i'll keep that in mind ;))
please go on as you guys usual do, really no complaining on the details! what your team is creating is not just outstanding for source mods generally speaking, it's also the best result so far in terms of "silent hill" mods since silent hill. ;)
but also: don't rush anything, please. take your time. :)
want to see MAXIMUM GAME NOW! ;D
looks so good. with or without real ripples, but the right sounds and maybe some good animated textures added and triggered - e voila. ;)
great avatars! :D interesting graphics -> tracking. :)
you just got me for a second, MyoHyo! :)
i haven't got the time to finish "G String" yet, so i thought maybe there might be some ray of hope, a glimmer of light... a pristine piece of nature left.
the atmosphere is -literally- breathtaking!
great variety and it's only one spot - love the art-style! :)
awesome lightning and textures... like the ones above already mentioned. :)
just wow! the shader effects, cold colours and the custom particles look incredible in this combination! great job :)
projected textures are the only way to "fake" realtime light at the moment, but it's also the weaker cascaded shadows/ global illumination system... valve should fix the possible amount of "env_projectedtextures" (in garry's you can have as much as you like...no more room in hell, got like 4 flashlights with no problems - l4d fail!), or finally update the sdk with all the fancy stuff added recently (l4d, l4d2, dota2 -> global illumination!, cs:go -> gloab illumination)
in cs:go FINALLY this 8 years old shadowbug is history... ( Youtube.com ) nomore projected shadows overlapping with lightmaps.
best way is to combine shadowmaps and lightmaps, like the new shadow engine in the update cs engine does. hopefully there will be an sdk update someday adding all that stuff to make it easier for modders to have eyecandy without switching and editing and converting so much. done. ;D
like it! looks so "mad maxish" it's great! :)
yeah, i think that that is the main influance / reference, too... but "nacht der untoten" is proper german, "nacht der airfield" not ;D
should be "nacht des flugfelds" or "nacht der flugfelder" or "nacht des flugplatzes" or "nacht der flugplätze" but it doesn't make real sense after all, this "title" - i kinda like it in this grammatically wrong translation, fits the b-movie like atmosphere most of the zombie / nazi movies and games are having. ;)
it looks kinda "burnt in" on a screenshot, especially in these environments because there's almost no foresight at all. that's why you can clearly see the grain before that misty shroud, especially on a freezed image. it's nice on the move, believe me. ;)
really nice perspective and good use of colours (black, red, white always looks good in my eyes :)) - the dead guy (chris?), did he fall to death?! looks like it. much emotion in this scene, i like it.
we already have a resolution for it right now, without spoiling too much:
even if it's labelled "small" here, it is clearly visible. believe me. :)
impressive! unique and convincing gameplay idea, looks addicting and fun! especially the fluid movements, good fov and awesome underwater blood effects! can't wait :)
love the dirty lens simulation (bottom right corner) and the colourful sun-reflections here. :)
great variety and creative concepts there, but i hate to say that i can still quote myself on stuff regarding some basic proportional size flaws which are still present:
"great details, but i would say the forehead of that white guy is far to big/long (because i bet the attention went right into the goggles, proportioned-wise) and the space between the eyes is way to small... the haircut is a matter of taste, but the other two things not. ;)
others then that, awesome! :)"
i did a small overpaint to underline what i was saying back in 2010 - no offence, just want to help! the eyes of these characters are way to small imho - made them bigger, the forhead "space" smaller and rearranged the basic headshape and the "chin-end" under the ears just a bit to show what i mean.
yeah the speakers in that corner make sense, of course. but the door position in 5.2-5.3 looks kinda "wrong" imho. i would give it a try. :)
love the wooden door's, the architecture and the overall atmosphere.. even if it's _really_ dark. the good old flashlight is a good thing to have here i guess. ;)
i would say it's clearly a mask... love the folds and the dark and bright sections on his cloths. great work! :)
congrats! a friend of mine linked me to this project and told me how long it's been in production... worth tracking, i am curious about there opinions!
impressive contrasts! love the "selfshadowing" like presence, looks really lifelike. :)
yey!!! can't wait to test it. hope it'll run without problems. :)
thanks for sharing!
i like the dead model prop, at least what i can recognize ;p
nice atmospheric teaser :)
awesome effect! and great "pump" animation, i BET!
really great work!!!
als muttersprachler freut man sich natürlich doppelt. ;)
awesome trailer! great atmosphere and puzzles seems nice :) can't wait..
there should be a DOTY (description of the year) award... you have enough quotes on this mod-page to win them all!
distance is an illusion. now and then, here and there. welcome home. ;)
love the futuristic, (untextured), clean and cold vibe... also the size of all the interiors and the "buildings" themself! great shapes and lots of open and big spaces. looks really interesting. tracking. :)
friendly fire? ;)
outstanding work! the contrasts, colours and "field of view" looks very real! also the blood. outstanding! :)
the oldboy guy? cool atmoshpere :)
great lightning :)
perfect! the fog looks awesome for source - especially because (if its a 2d cloud effect) it's not colliding with other map geometry - i do also love the hand- and weaponmodel seen here!
pure win! tracking :)
i like it - good sketch, you can really tell what it would look like sculpted out in detail. :)
awesome idea! tracking for sure, can't wait to see more :)
will check that out at the weekend, trailer looks good, great voice acting :)
good stuff, good stuff! :)
love the overall colourtheme and menu positions /features. great new page :)
wow. 6 minutes of very atmoshperic and above all a lot of custom stuff to look at. i really enjoyed the way you enter rooms, all the sounds, the saving game feature, the aiming (even if its wip), the doll on the stairs was creepy and of course the town. DAMN, that destroyed streetpart with the big cliff looked so awesome! :)
great work so far! would love to see some more bumpmaps / normal maps, could really help to make the "other side" look more wet, destroyed and dangerous. love it.
love the contrasts - great mood!
nice! btw: "braindead" crosses my mind :>
yeah it is, like the other new shots - great update! :)
guys! PLEASE MAKE A SPIDERMAN MOD OUT OF THAT CODE! :D PLEAAAAAAAAAAZE.
awesome update. :)
awesome work!!! LOVE the results, the artstyle, colours and mood are so authentic - the air traffic and it's shadows are sick! love it :>
ps: PLEASE tell my what is the music u use in that and other clips?
awesome as always! :D
only thing i dont like is the "new gen evangelion" poster in the back of that puppet - if it's a "anime/groovy/teeny-shop" it's alright - but other then that i would stick to fashionable adds and stuff. ;)
there are no winners yet, no? his work did not get mentioned from jury?
i loved the first one, and this one is also nice... (i already saw that others are replicating you, leon ^^)
links in your news update won't work :/ you have to look the pics up in the gallery manually.. good shots btw ;)
great colours and details! :)
is the corona of the sun changing with angles of view? couse right now it looks kinda static to me. anyways, i think such things are changes fast, the mapping is great either way :)
it is a mature title but i didn't expected stuff like that ingame, too. sad world. ;D
love this one! great work! :)
love it! :) great animation!
great update :)
one thing about the "Waitress Jessica" update: her arms are a world too long :P did a little gif, couse pictures tell more then 1000 words. ;)
beside that, great model and love the details :)
so, why don't you turn it on then? ;p
sounds so deep! cheers, downloading!!!
best price ever, thank you! :p
Even better. Blame it on me, selective perception. ;)
love the lightning, and good to see that you have the guts to actually show some brighter surfaces and structures now ;)
would be cool to have a rainy and wet topic too (maybe it'll work added to the older dark blue maps ;))
love it! also great progress you showed here... awesome to see how it's done :)
now the eyes are perfect. i bow for such detail and atmosphere! please say that this effect will... or already has replaced the old "overpowered red glow" from the last t-800 screenshots. *crossingfingers* ;D
great concepts dude. love'em all :) *bow*
edit: tracking just because of them ^^
great sky-texture, but is it just me, or is there a sharp connection line visible at a few spots, right near the middle of the picture? shouldn't be so much work to fix it, no? ;)
wow! love the steamy mountains and the distance effect / premise you are gaining with that. rly looks like a cold morning (really love the parallax snowtextures) :)
google it, if you really don't know it.
awesome progress, looks really cool! does it throw reatime shadows of objects inside the light-beam?
great effects! reminds me of that effect in mw2 at the crashed planes - all those sparks. looks awesome :)
there are also small and tall people too. kinda strange. it's called nature ;D
they usually have huge top fins.
great details, but i would say the forehead of that white guy is far to big/long (because i bet the attention went right into the goggles, proportioned-wise) and the space between the eyes is way to small... the haircut is a matter of taste, but the other two things not. ;)
others then that, awesome! :)
really great new concepts! love the details and overall mood / steampunk-style. great work :)
valve has got deadlines... (won't mean, that they stick to them at all ;D)
just awesome that scene - really, really love that project!
so talented... just incredible!
awesome design and mood!
looks so cool! alan in wonderland? ;D
great coding!!! and funny too ^^
i love the slow-mo lines behind the bullets - if the sound is crisp and "direct" lie this scene, it'll rock like this pic! can't wait to play this :)
love those concepts too! great detail and ideas. :)
<- me too ;D
amazing, really amazing work guys! lovely wet reflections.
amazing shots! the UDK sits well on your little baby. can't wait to play :)
downloading now, gentlemen! THANK YOU :)
awesome! love such dev-stuff, thank you very much for showing these :)
maybe his head is a bit, just a little bit to big? otherwise then that, awesome as always ^^
pure awesome! really talented artist. one question: is it all digital art or also analog (beside the original sketch underneath)?
+1 exactly what i think @RustySpannerz
...absolutely not for the ones who were never a kid, mr. anddos.
i kept a little kid inside myself and can't wait to play this :)
awesome work again, BUT...
hmmm the version befor ewas more arni-like, sorry... :/
eyes are to "wide", they need to be smaller. the area besides the mouth is wrong, folds need to be more "broad" looking here and the chin is to small... have a close look ;)
hair, texture and base is very good lookin, the throat and chest parts are still wip i think so no critics there ;)
told ya it's alive ;)
you know that i love it, milo.
looks really gut! :)
no need for a sorry! awesome progress till now :)
thicker eyebrows *hint* ;D
outstandin quality, models, textures and overall detail!
can't believe that this is almost 2 years old! :)
awesome wip mall, baseball field and church - love it! :)
looks really cool, tracking and downloading now. reminds me of "flower" for the ps3 system - inspiring example? ;)
very nice, love the animation @ 0:37 xD
hopefully you got some martial arts g's in your team ;)
this mod has got the best sourcemaps i've ever seen, period. period².
sick skills, dude! really, i could post this comment to every single posted screenshot in this gallery. AWESOME WORK.
could you please tell me hooow much time these maps took?
me2, believe me... me2 :p
awesome textures and overall mood!!! love the "dreamlike" scenes with room-"pieces" and flashback like locations, def. tracking :)
simply sayed awesome work! rouses memories... mr. bond. ;)
scripted events, voice acting, colors, "layout" and of course the mapping itself looks freakin outstanding - awesome work!!! respect :)
but i can't download it... "410 - Gone" :o
edit: now it seems to work.. :)
congrats dude :)
again, reads f***** awesome! love the way the story is presented! and good luck with those vacancies... :)
awesome! really beautiful!!! damn it! you got some unbelievable skills, guys! :)
i never heard that music before! but sounds nice... atmospheric ;)
also nice ingame pics... but what about the size? o.0
wtf?! wie kommts das ich die mod noch nie gesehen hab?! wahnsinn, sieht echt viel versprechend aus! un dann noch sone qualität aus de. boah! KEEP IT UP! ;)
15 minutes left. ^^ CAN'T WAIT TO CLOAK!
THANKS MODDB FOR NORMAL dl-links!!! I WAS FREAKIN OUT BY THAT TORRENTSTUFF! THAAAAAANK YOU!
****** AWESOME! CAN'T WAIT TO WALK THERE ^^
what i've forgotten to say is: THANKS FOR KEEPIN GOLDENEYE ALIVE! :)
and mastagunz, we'll see ;) :D
i was a real goldeneye-junky back in the n64-days, loved your first versions of the mod and i'm really excited to play the new beta NOW. THX and see you ingame! :)
i told you that i really love your work! that was one of my fav's too.
really great concept and idea!
great! really love your background and the style...
ich frag nochmal, wie heissten du im comicforum! ^^
... you and your team are ROCKIN' keep it up, guy's :)
i gues its a remix... i dont know the vocals and stuff but there IS silent-hill-stuff in it ;)
i am out there, waiting for your creation. have to say i am so curious, so curious.
oh and i would call it normal. everything else would be mad. :)
awesome stuff, tracking. :)
looks awesome, love the atmosphere!
awesome artwork, i love the details and especially the dusty, steamy cold and dark atmosphere. great colours! and great news too. :)
interesting! tracking... :)
true, nice one. love the overall mood and colours. nice details, that roadcracks and grass.
i think the main problem with outlast is really visible in this comparison: its too "in your face" with all the shocker effects and especially the gore. that's what i love about japan horror and its tension. it's SUBTLE and so much more effective if played out right, something mainstream hollywood and america will never understand. :)
looks and sounds incredible! love how you captured that timeless 80's scifi noir flavour perfectly... awesome shadereffects, custom textures and props too, love that you now see your body.
looking good! :)
looks fantastic! as sayed above, please keep it up! ;)
man this looks great! tracking for sure... love the whole 80's blade runner, mirrors edge, thief, flashback, mark of the ninja feeling, PLUS your own ofc. great art, can't wait to see more of it. :)
nice one! i like her proportions, face and the folds a lot! :)
can't wait for the finished sculpt, lowpoly version with material/texture work attached!
looks really promising! tracking for sure! :)
looks very cool!
awesome trailer btw (love the way you cutted it, nicely done!)
tracking for sure. :)
Congrats! but i am on ThrillerProd side here: The maincharacters animation look way to static and unnatural. i was like "woha, looks nice!" and then the mainhero walked and... jumped(?!), also midfight it looks to blocky and unfluid... but thats something you guys can definitaly fix i bet! :)
it's looking great already and i cant wait to read and see updates.
keep it up! :)
looks very interesting! tracking for sure. :)
amazing atmosphere. really beautiful! when lost alpha arrives, i'll go back into the zone. for shizzle!
looks and and sounds great! tracking... :)
the stuff sayed above, plus:
congrats for achieving that particular look so great! :)
nice piece! :)
kickstarter update 6 is live btw:
looks fantastic! reminds me of good old days... DAMN, 11 years!? time flies!
great to see support here! i am suprised to read that people from moddb still don't know raindrop... so you already got a point here, MDT. ;)
it's just so sad to see, that it doesn't look to good for the campaign right now. i am not very familiar with kickstarter, but a lot of people i referred to the project told me that it's normally a death sentence to be absent for so long on the own kickstarter profile - especially with such little sum and more then half of the time already gone.
i wrote nihad two weeks ago, offering help where i can, and also told him to make use of paypal for that campaign too - since a lot of people won't be able to back it up without. i didn't got any respond, dunno what they are doing, when they should be fully behind their own campaign and feeding the community with update stuff.
nihad, i've send you an pm 2 weeks ago... maybe it could help the kickstarter campaign too.
i know i am late, but: i'd say 6 months too!! can't wait to see this happening (the screenshot is just spot on again)! :)
who sayed that? :p
awesome effect! :)
