Hello, I am Keenan Harvey, aka Kee715. I am a geek from Texas, I have crappy internet, and I am an Atheist. There is about all that is immediately needed to be known. I am often rather logical, but I often have moments of insanity, in addition to my mind failing me when I need it, a lot. I am a n00b at nearly everything, so do not request much from me, if you do request something do not expect l33tness. Well enough about me, trust me when I say that I am not very interesting.

Well apparently telling people about my problems on the internet, much less anyone in general, gets me nowhere. I was told before I should tell someone about my troubles and I posted them online because I have nobody to talk to. But even so I did not even feel better after posting it, and nobody cares about anything on the internet so I just removed the other blog. No more shall I tell anyone about my problems, now on to the actual blog:
School sucks, I have an MP3 Player now ('tis my first time using one), I finally realized that I have an addictive/obsessive personality, I now use more of a mix of antiquidated and modern English when talking or typing, and my playlist shall once again return to the front of my profile.
No I am not very big on blogs, but my mind has always the desire to speak of itself and whatever my thoughts may be, so I shall resume my limited use of this blog. In addition I will post links to videos I deem worthy of watching for the rare case that someone else might like it as well:
Links:
n00b boyfriend
Hatsune Miku sings "Ievan Polkka" (Hatsune Miku is the character name given to the "voice" in the music synthesizer program "Vocaloid 2")
Deus Ex: Short Sequence (Pure awesome for Deus Ex fans)
Billy Mays orders food at a McDonald's drive-through (Epically hilarious)
The Parrot Sketch (Monty Python - 'nuff said)
My first video that is not utter shit. ^_^
If you need image links and are too busy/lazy I may be able to help, I have a massive folder in my bookmarks dedicated to image bookmarks.

I just thought someone might be interested in seeing where I live, so I took a few pictures and decided to post them here. I live outside of two relatively small towns, the only things of notice are the Morton Salt mine and First Monday trade days. The towns are Grand Saline and Canton, Texas BTW.

BTW I did not take pictures of the house itself, I was in a hurry.

Any true gamer with either half of a brain or was born before 1998 shouldst know about (And shouldst have played) Half-Life, many might say that 'tis one of the better games of all time, however some will say that it is "t3h sux0rz" or something along those lines. To be honest I think 'tis both, it IS great but 'tis also mediocre. Here is how I see how that works:
1.) Being a classic.
Now older (Or proto-nostalgic) gamers will have played DOOM, or DOOM II, or at least Quake, all of them are classified as "Classic" (No pun intended, unless you want a pun to be intended.) and are seen as great games by those who are old enough to have played them (Or maybe proto-nostalgic gamers), those came about in 1993, 1994, and 1996 respectively, Half-Life came about in 1998 (For those with bad memory) and still had classic game elements, but it also lacked some classic game elements, but 'twas enough (And it has been long enough) for it to be called a classic.
[ADDED] I forgot to mention that Half-Life's Gold Source (GoldSrc) Engine was based off of the Quake Engine, which still leaves it with the classic look, feel, and physics (Kind of).
2.) Being "Modern."
Now Half-Life also had some elements that we see in modern games, such as weapon with limited clip sizes and reloading (Duke Nukem 3D only had a pistol that reloaded), Sniper weaponry (Unreal did have a Sniper-Rifle, but that was not long before Half-Life, plus the Crossbow pawns :P ), Low gravity (I have not played Unreal but I do not think it had any level with Xen-like gravity), and it had several other things that are now commonplace in modern games. Basically Half-Life partially bridges the "gap" between "Modern" and "Classic" games. IMO anyway.
[ADDED] Quake had 3D graphics, which was a big step forward from the 2D Sprites of yesteryear, which helped pave the way for Modern games. Without Quake I guess that Crysis wouldst go from a Golden Turd to just a Turd. (Metaphorically of course)
3.) Mods and Moddablilty.
Now Half-Life was not the first game to be modded, but 'twas easy to mod (Not the easiest though), and if you will just look at the Mod DB profile you can see how many mods have been planned (And finished (And failed)) and you can see that it must be easy to modify in comparison to other games (Modding is NOT easy, I have made a small attempt, and failed...), in addition it seems to be open to a large amount of possible mod types (FPS, Horror, RPG, TPS, etc...), another reason why 'tis considered great. Now DOOM was highly moddable, and 'twas easy considering that earlier games were not easily moddable, but Half-Life is not DOOM, HL is 3D, with (Crappy, but good at the time) physics.
[ADDED] Now Quake was also highly moddable, it used a similar system to DOOM, which was .wad files. .wad files store the data separately from the engine (I think, it has been a while since I looked it up at Wikipedia), which leads to it being highly moddable. Half-Life uses .wad files as well, hence the moddability. In addition many mods of Modern popularity came around with Quake, like Team Fortress, Capture The Flag, Rocket Arena, and some others I am having trouble remembering.
4.) Presentation.
Whilst 'tisn't the only game ENTIRELY in a First-Person perspective 'tis one of the most well known, other games either lacked cutscenes or had pre-rendered ones, but Half-Life has a story and presentation that is different from those before it (Now I have never played Unreal nor Unreal Tournament, but I have heard that it compares with Half-Life (Minus the plethora of mods)), now when I play I get more of a sense of immersion, more of a "Okay, time to be Dr. Freeman and kick ass" instead of "Looks at how blocky and pixelated that things is! XD", now do not take my words wrong, I love classic games, but they look like sh*t. Whilst they are not unplayably ugly they do not give me the same sense of immersion. My point is that Half-Life "feels" different.
Now Half-Life is by no means perfect, nor is it the best game ever, but it IS great and it IS worthy buying if you like FPS games AT ALL. Now if I am wrong (This is all in my opinion after all) then I do have one proven fact that if anyone denies shouldst throw their games and gaming equipment out of the nearest window:
Half-Life IS significantly better than Halo, enough said.

Also known as a birthday, that day for me is today. Go ahead and say what you will, it makes no difference. I get Apple Pie instead of Cake today, and I got all 4 Tremors movies. :D
I also received Superhero Movie, and I am now 15...
Just to keep it up, I will be posting my playlist here:
