Don't let it get you down, people on Taleworlds are really skeptical about mods. I'd love to see this finished, and I do think you're making pretty good progress, faster than a lot of other modders I know.

The Module System is what you are looking for, you can download it on taleworlds's website, though you need python for it to work. Check the Module System thread in the Forge section of Taleworld's forum.
MP, sadly, I lack the time and the motivation to continue and finish the mod, that is why I gave Belendor charge of the project ui my stead, but it seems he suffers from the same.
Well, I kinda stopped working on it quite some time ago, yet I might still continue it at some point. It was mainly made for Multiplayer.
Maybe enabling people to go to the Campaign was a mistake...
Thanks for the link, never heard of these guys 'afore... Well, good luck to them.
Uh, never heard of it, unless you meant TLD? That's for M&B 1.011, and they would most likely rather make everything themselves rather than combine with mine.
Leadership skill perhaps?
Woo! TLD! Bloody beautiful they made it to the top 10! Good mod and deserves it for all the work they put into it, same as all the other developers of mods who are or are not on the list.
Sorry for being late with an answer, but you need to like copy the CONTENTS of the patch into the Hornburg folder, not just extract it. If you extract you will have a folder in your The Hornburg folder named the Hornburged or something, copy the stuff from that and paste into the main mod folder.
But my mod was never about pleasing the masses. Also, the film uruk-hai are different, for one, there was never any mention of plate armor, which every single uruk wore in the films. Also, the totaly identical armor of the uruks, seriously, orcs and uruks were totally not wearing the same armor, there was differentiation. The films never showed that the dunlanders and orcs were fighting at Hornburg either, actually, the orcs were far more than the Uruk Hai were.
Also, the weaponry the Uruk Hai used, they never used Crossbows for one, only bows. Another thing was that the swords they used was described as crude swords among other things, likely they used axes and clubs aswell, which in my opinion would make them look like swords, not the cleavers in the movies.
/rant end
In short, never made the mod to please the masses, made the mod because I wanted to. If you want a movie mod, play The Blood in the West.
I forgot to say, it's only Multiplayer, sos. Never really did much work on the Singleplayer side. And to anyone having problems with playing singleplayer, sucks, cause it's not meant to be played, should've just taken away the option...
That's cause you're not on a dedicated server... :/ You're hosting your own private server.
Deathteam, tried not to base them of the film atleast. But I didn't have too many models to work with, so I had to take what I could.
Better letting him continue it rather than letting it die eh?
Awesome! TLD has a page here... *tracking*
Join a server by pressing the "march to war" option? If you're having trouble when playing on the server and so on, you might've installed the patch wrongly.
Dunno, depends if there comes another server that will allow more people, I don't own any of the servers, I'm just making a mod here.
Hm, did you download the original? Cause the patch means you put it in your old The Hornburg folder.
I have no idea what you said. Just so you know, only server running the patch is WTF_Hornburg_Test
1st, I haven't worked on the map at all either, I have to place all teh towns by hand, by getting the coordiante of their position on the ingame map and then adding it to the module system file. But i haven't gotten around to doing it yet.
2nd, There wont be any crossbows for any faction in the mod.
3d, I can't make specific grunting sounds for the orcs and uruks when the player plays them, but I can for bots. Players can only have two races in Multiplayer, Male and Female, and I can't change that, but I can for bots, and I'm working on it.
First of all, do you mean the Hornburg movie version? cause that map isn't finished. At all. No AI mesh. Rest of teh maps should work fine.
Mainly the books, the films have some cool stuff though.
No they weren't. Find me a line in the books that says the elves came to help the Rohan defenders and I'll put them in. (Legolas does not count in this case)
Not quite true. But you'll often hae less armor than in FI, and less two handers, unless you play as the Hosts of Isengard.
I think I understand what you mean, but it would work, but if the uruks wear them like they do now they would also be able to hit with the spikes on teh end of the shield. Yeah I can't exactly get it to work like that in the mod itself, but I've actually tought about it, using the shield like it is now offers better cover in melee fights, and less of a hassle when you run.
We had a discussion of a realistic player driven medieval MMO some time ago on the Taleworlds forum. But it seems you guys have already started. Good luck on your endeavour, I'll be looking forward to it.
Orcs, goblins are the same as orcs as a matter of fact.
