I missed the hangout but I went over the rulebook, seems pretty indepth and I'm liking where this is going. I was attracted to this project because A. the art (I love you by the way), and B. the promise of deep gameplay.

From what I've read it seems just what I imagined it to be, if not better. I look forward to testing the mechanics against another player though~

1: For turn based tabletop games, I usually prefer playing a game of rock paper scissors to see who goes first. You could make it more fun with elements or something :]

If you go with the tap thing, to make it more fun you could have it be reaction based. I can imagine two guys violently tapping their screens as the countdown begins, which isn't very quick-draw-esque. Maybe like, a countdown, a pause, and then a "DRAW" at a random interval after the final count, and whoever taps closest to the draw goes first.

2/3: Achievements and leaderboards are dealbreakers for some people and are almost always better left in than out.

4. Touchscreen controls will never be as fun as controller or keyboard controls in my opinion!!!

This is downright amazing, the prologue blew my mind 2 years ago and you guys have done it again!

My only gripe is the removal of lean and the lack of variation in some weapons (Although the variation is greater than the prologue so kudos to that). Its just that seeing the same G36C all game dissapointed me. The lean would have made the stealth segments and shootouts a lot simpler.

This is definitely the best story driven source mod of all time and I commend you guys for combining so many genres into one package; congratulations on this one! seeya for chapter 2!

I also had very low expectations coming in but damn this was really impressive. I love the artwork and the music, and the game play flows really well. Also just gonna throw in that playing on Chrome I experienced no lag whatsoever.

I'm having trouble getting this to work online... regular ballistic weapons work fine, but these weapons, when chosen from the Ballistic load out menu, do not appear.

Despite me and my friends having the mod installed properly, only the host can use them (in the case of a listen server). Is there something I'm missing?

Alright, so the 3.06.3 patch fixed my problem, thanks guys, and I really appreciate the fast response.

I was pleasantly surprised with the detail of the mod; the falling down and getting back up aspect really got me; that lead to some amazing firefights. That said, I feel as if in some cases, people recover too quickly from bullet wounds. I think maybe it was done for pacing, to keep the action going, but I still feel as if in some cases, enemies should stay down longer.

Also, I feel as if this mechanic is just begging for a drag or fireman's carry mechanic so one can save wounded teammates, but im not sure how difficult that is to code.

But other than forcing myself to be critical, this mod really amazed me, and I can't wait to see more of it. I would like to contribute a little, and can do concept art if needed.

I dont know what I'm missing here, but after installing the 3.03 full, 2.04 patch, 3.05 patch, and 3.06.2 patch in that order, and going ingame, I cant seem to find a way to join the game. It runs well, and I can see the AI ingame, but I'm stuck as a spectator. I couldn't find a bindable key to join the game, is there a console command I can use or something?
