Yeah, don't really like visiting this site as much as I used to. I only show up to check my mod watch (which is giving me errors so I can't clear the ones I've already seen), and to check my Anime club, which has 116 members -- making it the fourth-largest group (and currently sitting at the 16th spot for most popular group). The forum is a pile of unmoderated garbage, so I'll stick to what actually makes this site good.

Exactly. I have broadband, and seeing as how we run a home network, we use a router instead of a xDSL modem. See. No modem. We just plug our CAT-5 cable from the computers, to the router, then the CAT-5 goes into a scrambler.

I have a router. It came with the service. A modem is an entirely different thing, though >.<

Karuto wtf. Do you what a modem/router is? If you have any type of high speed internet such as cable, dsl, broadband. You still got to have a modem/router..You have to have a enthernet cable to hook into you xbox, and the other end of the cable goes into the modem/router

I don't have a modem. I have broadband. PS2 can use both a phone line and broadband. I've tried it before on my Xbox, and it works >.>

Why would I need a router...?

I have played with broadband on my PS2 before with Final Fantasy XI. I know how to make it work, although I have to sacrifice internet connection on the computer with it.

Block both video games and internet at the same time: makes other people feel kind of bored.
