It's soon lost count of all the times we were impressed over Minecraft users' tireless work ethic, not to mention the level of ambition in many of the amazing structures that have taken place in the game world. And it was probably only a matter of time before someone would start with a proper representation of the real world as well.
Using the program World Painter, "has lentebriesje" started to not only recreate, but in addition make playable, our own planet. Currently it is possible to download the continents of North America, South America, Australia and Europe (click the links), but we expect that the rest of the world follow suit in the future.
